Chapter 2: Philza Minecraft

"Uhm excuse me.." Ellie said in a low tone.

"Oh! Hello who are you? Are you ok it's about to get dark soon and there's no homes near here." The older man said as Ellie slowly developed a worried look on her face.

"Oh I'm so sorry that was probably pretty overwhelming let me introduce myself, I'm Philza Minecraft but you can call me Phil." He added.

"Hi... I'm so sorry to bother you I was just wondering if there was a place I could stay near by but like you just said I guess there's no homes near but I can figure it out thanks for the help." Ellie said quickly before walking away.

"Wait! You can't stay alone out here do you know the types of mobs that live here? They could really hurt you." Phil said.

"Yes sir I do know about the mobs." She said
fidgeting with her hands.

"Here follow us, you can stay with us for the night then we can help you home tomorrow but we need to hurry before it gets dark then you can explain everything once we get there." He said.

"Oh if you insist I guess.." Ellie said a bit nervous.

"Of course!" Phil said smiling. Everyone started walking as the weather started to progressively get colder and snowy trees became visible in the near distance.

"Sorry about all the people these are my sons." Phil added.

"The blond one's name is Tommy and the light brunette is Tubbo, they're both ten and have very different personalities but seem to get along quite well. The one with the glasses is Wilbur he loves music! The last one is Techno, he likes anything to do with fighting." Philza explained.

"Well hello, I'm Ellie." She responded.

"Nice to meet you!" Tubbo said smiling and waving from next to her.

"Yeah cheers." Tommy said nodding his head from the other side of Tubbo.

"Don't worry he's just trying to act all cool he's actually super funny." Tubbo whispered to Ellie as she nodded her head back at him with a smile.

As the group walked they entered a snowy biome which was something Ellie had never seen before.

They walked to a small wooden cabin that had a warm and welcoming look to it.

"This is our home! It's in a tiny country we made up called Snowchester!" Phil announced.

"Yeah such a creative name right?." Wilbur said in a monotone voice.

"Yes very." Ellie responded sarcastically.

"It's actually super pretty here." She added.

"Exactly that's what I told the boys but they just don't appreciate the cold!" Phil said.

"Well I've never been in this type of biome so it's definitely a change for me." Ellie commented.

"Wait where are you from?" Tommy said as he looked past Tubbo right at Ellie.

"Well.... I'm from a desert biome." She responded.

"Ok but like what country." Tommy added slightly annoyed as everyone gathered near the front door.

"Tom leave the poor girl alone she's only just met you she doesn't need to tell you everything. Just go in change into clean clothes." Techno said as he waited for Phil to turn the key in the doors key hole.

"I'm just confused on how she found us in some random forest but came from a desert." Tommy said as he entered the house.

"Boys go change and head to bed please while I make Ellie some tea." Phil said as he walked into the kitchen.

The cottage was tiny but cozy. As you entered you were greeted with the living room and to the right was the kitchen and a small bay window with a dining table.

To the left was a hallway that all the boys walked down heading into different doored rooms.

Phil grabbed two mugs from one of the dark oak cabinets and set it on the tiled countertop.

"Do you like black tea?" Phil asked.

"Uhm.. yeah I think, I've never had it to be honest with you..." Ellie replied tearing her eyes off all the photos on the walls of the boys identifying them all by their hair.

"Well you're about to love it. Tea is my favorite drink but that might be because I'm British." Phil responded with a laugh.

He pored the hot water into the two mugs with a tea bags and carried them over to the table.

"Here you can sit down and explain what you were doing alone in the forest." He said slowly placing the mugs trying his best not to spill the hot liquid.

"Thank you..." she said slowly before taking a sip of the tea.

They both sat in silence as Ellie was trying to collect her thoughts on what to say.

"I do need to know a little bit more than your name considering you were alone in the woods before dark, I just want to make sure you're ok you seem like a wonderful kid." Phil said with a smile on his face trying his best to be friendly and calm.

"Well.." Ellie started. "I live in a family owned country called Las Nevadas it's kinda like a huge casino." She continued.

"Oh yeah I've heard of that place that's cool!" Phil responded with this classic joyful smile.

"Yeah i guess, me and my brother have lived there alone ever since our parents passed away about a year ago, after going on a long work trip." Ellie said as tears slowly started to fill her eyes.

"Because it was just me and my brother he ended up owning the country, but he constantly had trouble learning to manage his anger and stress and tended to let it out on me." Ellie continued as tears rolled down her tan rosy cheeks.

Phil reached his hand over to the kitchen counter and picked up a box of tissues then handed them to Ellie.

She wiped her tears and continued taking a fresh sip of her tea.

"It had gotten super bad today and I couldn't handle it anymore so I ran away and ended up in the forest, Once I heard people's voices I hoped I could have help finding a safer place to stay."

"I'm so sorry Ellie for all you have truly been through at such a young age.." Phil responded.

"You know Tom, he's had a lot happen to him too but he has never truly talked about it with anyone he tends to be pretty stubborn." Phil added with a small laugh. "Ellie if you'd truly like, tomorrow we can try and find you somewhere else safe to stay however I would love to have you here and I think everyone else has seemed to take a wonderful liking to you." He said slowly sipping his tea.
"That's quite generous of you Phil, is it possible I can have some time to think about this there's so much going on right now." Ellie responded taking slow deep breath to try and calm her anxious breathing down.

"Of course I didn't expect an answer immediately. How about I show you to your room?" Phil said as he picked up the empty mugs and placed them in the kitchen sink.

"Sure" Ellie agreed as she slowly stood up.
