Declaration

The Scouts went to a meeting where the important people of Marley were talking about what to do with the Subjects of Ymir.

"We seek aid for the displaced Subjects of Ymir refugees who are scattered across nations!" An old politician cried out. "These refugees were never once Eldians nor do they have anything with the dangerous ideologies of the Eldian Empire! They're nothing more than sad victims, forced by the Eldian Empire to inbreed! It is none other than the devils of that deserve our hatred! The devils who escaped to that island 100 years ago are the ones we must abhor! Our enemies are those island devils!"

Everyone in the building got up and clapped and cheered. Once again it was proven to Lando that peace wasn't an option.

As the audience was cheering, Eren who was sitting next to Lando got up and walked out of the room, Lando followed him.

"Eren," Lando said.

"It's time," Eren said. "For my plan to go into effect."

"What part is this?" Lando asked.

"I'm going to enlist in the Marleyan military in their war," Eren said.

"I heard people talking about it in the meeting," Lando said. "They said it was something called trench warfare."

"I will find out," Eren said. "I left a note detailing everything."

"Understood," Lando said.

Eren walked out of the building.

A few minutes later the Scouts came walking out panicked.

"Lando, where did you go?" Levi demanded.

"Bathroom," Lando said.

"Eren is gone." Hange said, "He left. Did you see him?!"

"No, it must've been before I left," Lando said.

"Maybe he went back to our safehouse?" Connie said.

The Scouts ran back to the safehouse where they found a handwritten note from Eren about how he would entrust everything to Zeke.

3 months went by and the Scouts had been gathering intel that whole time, information here and there in different countries. Until a letter came from Eren after no contact with them telling them his plan to attack a place called Liberio during a speech. The Scouts were told to get ready for a battle, Hange was furious but she had to do what Eren said because he was too valuable to lose. Jean found in a newspaper that some guy named Willy Tybur was going to announce what they should do about the Titan threat.

On the day of Willy's declaration, the Scouts got their forces ready for a battle against humans and Titans. Lando had on all-black anti-personnel vertical maneuvering equipment with thunder spears equipped and swords as a backup.

The Scouts were still setting up by the time Willy came out onto the stage to address the military but Lando and a couple of Scouts got onto a rooftop so they could see the ceremony.

"Let's look back in time, roughly 100 years ago the Eldian Empire ruled the world with the Power of the Titans. From the rise of the Founder Ymir until today, Titans have robbed enough lives to eradicate humanity three times over." The backdrop behind Willy turned into a bunch of people covered in blood screaming. "Countless cultures and peoples have been wiped out by Titans; their histories stolen away. The Eldian Empire's path of slaughter became humanity's, history. And when the Eldian ran out of enemies, they soon began slaughtering one another. The Great Titan War had begun." The backdrop changed into blindfolded people fighting with swords and shields. "Families holding the eight Titans waged a bloody war. Using this to his advantage, one Marleyan sought victory. It was the hero, Helos. Thanks to his clever manipulations, the Eldian Empire was tricked into killing each other, one by one. By joining hands with the Tybur family, they forced the unbeatable King Fritz to flee and retreat to the island. However, though he fled to Paradis Island, his power still remained." The backdrop changed into King Fritz putting on a crown and shadows of Titans. "Tens of millions of Titans await on the island to trample the world. To this day, the only reason we haven't been trampled is merely a fluke. Our scholars have no other explanation. To eliminate the threat, our motherland Marley sent four Titans to the island, but they were beaten back and only the Armored Titan returned. The darkest blot on humanity's history, the Eldian Empire, is alive and well. Now then, the story I told thus far is common knowledge. However, the truth is somewhat different. In passing down the Warhammer Titan, the Tyber family inherited its memories. I will now reveal the truths we learned for the first time ever. Some 100 years ago, it was neither Helos nor the Tyburs who ended the Great Titan War." Lando noticed Marley soldiers on top of one of the rooftops. "The one who ended the fighting and saved the world...was King Fritz. He anguished over the Eldian Empire's vicious victory, tired from the endless infighting, and above all, he was painted by the endless oppression of Marley. When he inherited the Founding Titan, he schemed with the Tybur family and they fabricated a Marleyan Hero. His name: Helos. The King moved as many Eldians as he could to the island and closed the gates. He claimed that if they were threatened, thousands of Titans would be unleashed as revenge. However, this was never his intention. King Fritz made a vow renouncing war so his ideology would be inherited. Because of this, Karl Fritz's ideology has been passed down, and the Titans have never left the Island to attack. That is the one keeping our world safe is the vile King of the walls. Karl Fritz, and his desire for peace. Peace was all he wanted. But if Marley grew strong and came to take the Founding Titan or his life, he would accept it. He believed the sins of the Eldians were so grave, they could never be atoned for. However, until that day of retribution, let me savor a brief paradise free of conflict within the walls. That is all I ask of you. That was his last request. Yes...In exchange for our safety, the Tybur family joined hands with Karl Fritz and sold out the Eldians to Marley. We're no more than traitors lavishing in crookedly earned honor. The reason that I stand here and willingly part with his sham is because I know our world is in great peril." Lando noticed that the soldiers started to talk amongst each other about something. It seems the plan went into motion. "Using the power of the Founding Titan, Karl Frits erected three walls. These walls, formed by tens of millions of Colossal Titans, have served as a shield and spear, safeguarding peace. But recently, an uprising took place on Paradis Island. King Fritz's peace was undermined by a person who stole the Founding Titan. Once again, there is a threat to our world, a rebel against peace! His name: Eren Jaeger! The threat of Paradis Island is the stampede of millions of Colossal Titans a rumbling. As I mentioned the vow renouncing war prevents the King's bloodline from fully using the Founding Titan. But currently, this Eren Yaeger who possesses the Founding Titan may begin this rumbling at any moment. Once the rumbling is set in motion, there is nothing we can do. Nothing but tremble at the footsteps of doom, fleeing in vain. All lands and civilizations will be trampled, literally razed to the ground. I curse the blood I was born with. More than anyone, I wish the Eldians were wiped out. But I do not wish to die. And that is because, I was born into this world. We are people of different races and nations! However, it is time to join as one and face this dreadful enemy! Lend me your strength those of you who wish to live! Those of you who wish for a future!" The crowd got up and started to clap and cheer. "If we work together, we can overcome any obstacle in our way! I want you to join me in the fight against the devils of Paradis Island! Here and now, as representative of the Marleyean government, I proclaim...to the enemy forces of Paradis a declaration of war!" As soon as Willy Tybus finished his speech the building he was in exploded and Eren's Titan came from under the building.
