"I gave you one job! It's not that fucking hard to catch a vigilante", our boss, Jonah fussed at all the journalists in the office.

"They swing like a spider from building to fucking building AND mutant freaks and broke robbers", he snapped punching the wall beside him making the fresh journalists and interns flinch from his outburst. "If they can get her attention you fuckers can too!".

"Sir it's impossible", a journalist spoke up in a defeated sigh.

The sound of a giggle escaping a journalist gained everyone's attention causing everyone in the room to look at you, Y/n L/n a well-known journalist.

"Something funny Y/n", Jonah questioned annoyed as he crossed his hairy arms.

"Nothing nothing it's just", you began while standing up. You wore a black pencil skirt with a matching white button-up blouse.

"It's not hard to catch her", you admitted.

"Is it now", the journalist scoffed standing up as well. "Well show us your wave if you're such an expert", he dared. "Call them right now".

"They don't answer by phone", you said walking towards the window and opening it up allowing the window to burst into the huge heated work area. Everyone in the room looked at you weird and confused.

"Then how do you call then", the journalist asked shoving his hands into his pockets.

Without another word, you launch yourself out of the window. An intern released a horrified scream and rushed towards the window like everyone else. Your coworkers and boss are crowded by the window looking over at your falling body.

"Dammnit not another one!", Jonah raged gripping the window edge as he stared down at you. The sound of a web shooting out causes everyone to look to the side.

The one and only Spiderwoman appeared out of nowhere. Swinging up, into the air from underneath you, she caught you with ease as if this was a daily occurrence. Your legs wrapped around her hips with your arms around her neck.

"You really need to stop doing this Y/n" " Spiderwoman chuckled into your ear.

"Maybe if you stop catching me I'll stop", you giggled leaning back a bit to look at her. Spiderwoman playfully rolled her eyes behind her mask you could tell the way she threw her head to the side a bit.

"I haven't dropped anyone yet, I rather that not be you", she hummed her arm squeezing around your mid back as she had reached around gripping your hip to keep a tight grip on you. That fluttering sense of safety filled your stomach making you smile wider.

"Anyway, good morning Spiderwoman", you greeted her professionally. "So, can you tell me what you think a perfect Sunday would be", you asked.

"Besides catching falling. journalists?", she questioned jokingly into your ear as she rested her chin on your shoulder to see where she was going. "Yes, besides catching falling gorgeous journalists", you replied. "I should bring you back", she countered as the both of you turned the corner of a building.

"Bring me back empty-handed? Are you trying to get me fired", you mocked a gasp. "Will it stop you from nosediving out of windows", she asked.

"I would have more time jumping out of windows, how perfect is Sunday", you asked making release a deep chuckle. .

"A perfect Sunday would be in my workspace", she began to answer.
