"Kacchan! Kacchan! Open the door, I have something to tell you! Kacchan!"

The door opened beneath the five-year-old fist, revealing another, blonder, five-year-old behind it.

The blond one glared, as best as a toddler could, and snapped "What do you want, Deku?!"

'Deku' smiled, so wide it took up most of his little face. "Kacchan! Did you see the UA Sports Festival? That was today!"

"Tch," 'Kacchan' rolled his eyes, rather impressively with them taking up at least a quarter of his face. "Of course I saw it, dumb Deku. What about it, huh?!"

My my, what an angry little puffball.

"Did you see the first-years? Did you, did you?!" 'Deku' was practically vibrating out of his painfully red shoes.

"No? That's for losers. I watched the third-years, duh." The blond child crossed his tiny stick arms, probably trying to look cool or intimidating, but failing due to being barely three feet tall.

"Kacchan! The winner of the first-years was quirkless!" 'Deku' was jumping up and down very quickly, looking like a green blur.

"What?"

The green-haired kid didn't seem to hear him. "Kacchan, we can still be heroes together!" He was beaming at this point, comparably to the sun itself.

"Wait- Deku... what? I don't get it." 'Kacchan's' arms dropped to his sides. He seemed shocked, eyes becoming wide, filling with confusion and a dash of hope.

Impossibly, 'Deku's' smile grew. "Don't you get it, Kacchan?

"Quirkless people can be heroes too!"

"Nashisuna-kun! Thank you for joining us."

Nashisuna Kirou smiled, shaking the hand offered to him, then sat in his respective chair. "Thank you for having me."

"Alright! I am Katchi Mo, but please, call me Mo-chan." Mo turned to look at the camera that pointed towards the two chairs. "Hello everyone! Thank you for joining us after UA's first-year Sports Festival! With me we have our winner, Nashisuna Kirou!"

Turning back to said winner, Mo smiled wide, revealing blue teeth. What a random quirk. "Now, Nashisuna-kun, you had some tough competition during the festival. What was the most difficult obstacle you conquered today?"

Tilting his head in consideration, Nashisuna hummed. "I'm not really sure. The maze was simple enough -- once you got passed the killer robots -- and Capture-the-Flag was just strategy. Not to say that they were easy, that'd insult my competitors, but the one versus one matches were a challenge."

"I'm sure they were! Even so, you seemed to blow away the competition!" Mo leaned excitedly forward, grin somehow growing larger. "Now for the question that everyone has been itching to ask: Nashisuna-kun, what is your quirk?"

The boy let out a puff of air, smile dropping a fraction.

The atmosphere tensed. Mo leaned even further toward the student, anticipation running through her veins.

Then, like a string cut, Nashisuna relaxed, grinning to show teeth. Staring directly into the camera, he declared:

"I'm quirkless."
