A fight?!

TW: fighting and mention of homophobia.

Maddie's PoV: I'm at school with my girlfriend who is the best. At lunch she had to go to an appointment. And I see my friend Katie who is a nice person. "hi." I say "hi." She says back. "Do you want to come to my house after school?" I ask her. "I cant sorry I don't feel comfortable being around a friend who has two dads." She says with a smirk. "Why?" I say.  "Because it's weird knowing that you have two dads." I could only feel very angry and then I punched her.

(After lunch still Maddie's PoV)

I sit in principal's office which isn't nice but it's also scary. "So Maddie what happened? Says the principal. "I was upset."  I say. "Okay explain what happened?" Says principal. "I don't know I asked Katie if she wanted to come to my house and then she said she be uncomfortable with my dads or any gay person." The principal looks at me and goes. "Well that's totally unacceptable what Katie said and I'll talk to her parents about in privately." I nod and agree. And then continues to speak. "I think it's the best if you two got a detention during lunch because I don't want you two missing lessons." She tells me to get Katie which I did just after I closed the door I could hear the principal shouting at her.

(After school. Maddie's PoV)

Me and my brother Jace arrive home before our parents who are still at work. I'm nervous about when they get home. "What's wrong with you?" Jace said. "Nothing." I said. He looks at me. "Okay I'll be in my room playing with on my Xbox." He smiled and walked away.

Nick's PoV: I arrive home to see both kids arrived home and I walk in to see Maddie sitting on the couch looking upset. "Hey baby what's wrong?" I asked her. "You're going to hate me." She says. "I never hate you darling." "I punched a girl and got detention for it I'm sorry." I'm shocked about what she said.
