Charlie's PoV: me and Nick are up late tonight because our daughter turns one years old tomorrow and we both get emotional thinking about it. It's nearly midnight and have finished decorating the living room for our daughter's birthday. Me and Nick decided to have a small family gathering for our daughter.
Nick's PoV: it's midnight and we have finished decorating for our daughter who will be one tomorrow. We just had to do presents and that was it until the morning. Me and Charlie were finishing off the last present and then we went to bed.
The next morning it's maddie's 1st birthday
Charlie's PoV: it's 7:00am and the birthday girl hasn't woken up yet so I just cuddle into Nick for at least 10 minutes and he starts slowly waking up " morning baby" "morning" in his sleepy voice. Nick checks his phone for a bit then we talk. " how are you feeling?" "Emotional" he says. "yeah me too." We kiss and then I wake up the birthday girl. "Good morning birthday girl." I say. "Papa where's daddy?"
"He's in my room waiting for you darling." I get maddie out her cot and she runs to mine and Nick's room. "Daddy" as she sees nick " oh happy birthday darling girl let's go downstairs."
Nick's PoV: we all up and dressed celebrated maddie's birthday. "Charlie" "yeah?" "What's up?" Kaci has been texting and she was asking if we want to know the gender of baby number two?" "Yes of course" we head to the appointment to find out the gender of our second child.
10 minutes later
Charlie's PoV: we came out of the doctors office and headed back to the car with a note with the gender of our second child. " are you ready?" Says nick. " no I'm nervous actually."
3 2 1 it's a boy
Nick's PoV: " charlie is a boy!" "Omg!" I hug Charlie as he cries "l love you so much Charlie." "I love you Nick."
