Thanks so much for 100 reads!!! 😁😁

The USJ incident was soon overshadowed by the upcoming UA sports festival. While people were still talking about what had happened at USJ, they were more interested in the UA sports festival.

Killua didn't really care about the sports festival, but he was definitely ready for people to start asking him questions about what fighting the nomu was like. Since the news had decided that it was a good idea to mention him in tv people started to recognize him when he was out in public. This made it hard for him to search for a way home without people bothering him.

Killua wasn't happy with the small amount of progress he was making towards getting home and by small amount of progress he meant almost none. His irritation was starting to show too. During class Killua would glare at the world outside the window as if it had somehow disappointed him.

Killua tried to make sure that his emotions didn't affect his classmates, but it was hard. He had never really had to do this before. Most people stayed far away from him once they knew who he was. Just being around Gon was enough to calm him down usually and if not Gon would try to find a way to make him happy again.

Killua lay his head down on his desk. He missed Gon so much. Something wet slid down his cheek and Killua realized, shocked, that it was a tear. Thank goodness his head was down or else someone might have seen it.

"Killua are you ok?" Midoriya asked. He had noticed the change in Killua's mood before anyone else. Midoriya was not one to ignore people who need help and Killua was on his list of people he wanted to help, so was Todoroki. (I like to think that Midoriya makes a mental note of people who need help. IDK why but it makes sense that he would pay a little more attention to those people.)

"Yeah, I'm fine," Killua said. "Ok. We're your classmates so if you ever need help with anything all you have to do is ask," Midoriya said. "Midoriya is right. We have noticed that you have been acting different than usual. If something is going on in your life, we want you to know that we are here for you," Iida said joining the conversation. "Even if you don't want to talk about it, we can still give you a hug or a smile," Mina added.  Killua let out a dry laugh, "This isn't something you can help me with but thanks."

Midnight cleared her throat, "As touching as that was, we are still in class so unfortunately we still have to learn boring math facts." Midnight wrinkled her nose as if the thought of learning math caused her pain. Before Midnight turned back to the board she looked Killua in the eye, "I also want you to know that your teachers are also here for you. You are our student and while you are under our care, we will do anything we can to protect you." Killua nodded and she went on with the lesson. He promised himself that he would search for a way back home later.

~~~~~Meanwhile~~~~~~
It turned out that picking a direction and wandering in that direction was a horrible way to find a place. Who would have thought? Gon ended up having to ask for a map and some directions on the way. He found out that he had been going the opposite way the whole time.
Gon scowled at the map he was holding. If Killua had been here, he would have smacked him on the back of the head for choosing a random direction instead of using his brain. With a sigh Gon started the long journey towards UA.
Along the way many people in strange costumes and police men stopped him, asking why he wasn't in school and where his parents were. When Gon told them that his dad had left him to be a hunter they would frown and say that they didn't know what a hunter was, but his father sounded like a villain. Gon didn't say anything in response to that. He figured calling someone a villain was like calling someone scum. Leorio did it all the time.
