The Dark Witch: Agent Parker

Chapter 7

"Hello, Goddess of Hot" Loki says grinning.

I tighten my fists using my magic to make the transport explode, sending me and Loki tumbling to a rooftop. Loki scrambled for a bit before standing up. Meanwhile, I land in a squatting position before standing up. Loki creates a blade in his hands and tries to stab me, but I grabbed his wrist and I kicked his legs sending him flying to the ground.

He chuckles and tries to get up.

"What are you?  You're not of Midgard"

"I'm the Dark Witch" 

I twisted his wrist forcing him to drop the knife.

"I wonder... what ignited that fire... in you"

"Well let's take a look"

I used my magic to force him to levitate in the air. I put my hands near either side of his head and I let my memories fill his head.

"You're adopted" he asks as I stop showing my memories.

"Yes"

"Like me. You're an outsider. Join me and we can make the earth great"

"The offer is great, but it has a lot of flaws" I said tightening my magic around his body "Hulk he's all yours"

I dropped Loki on the floor letting Hulk have his anger out on Loki. I teleported over to Natasha on the Stark Tower.

"Vic could your powers help me through the portal"

"I can try"

"We can close it. Can anybody copy? We can shut the portal down"

"Do it" Steve says.

"No wait"

"Stark these things are still coming. My powers can penetrate the shield and the sceptre can shut down the tesseract" I say.

"I got a nuke coming in. It's going to blow in less than a minute" Tony says "And I know just where to put it"

Tony flies towards the portal with the nuke on his back.

"Stark, you know that's a one way trip" Natasha says.

He skims the tower and flies into the portal, out of sight.

"Close it" he says.

Using my powers I made a part of the force shield weaker forcing an opening in it. Natasha then drove the tip of the sceptre into the tesseract, immediately closing the portal. Suddenly, Tony falls out of the portal and just falls.

"He's not slowing down" Thor states.

Before Thor could fly up, I propelled myself off the roof using my powers and I caught Stark. I slowly levitated him to the ground where the others were and rested him on the floor.

Thor rips off Tony's mask, revealing an unconscious or dead Tony.

"Is he breathing" Steve says as I check for a pulse.

"His arc reactor it's not glowing" I said touching it.

But then the Hulk let out a roar making Tony wake up.

"What the hell? What just happened? Please tell me no one kissed me" Tony gasped for air.

"We won" Steve responds.

"All right, yay! Hurray. Good job guys. Let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day. Have you ever tried shawarma? There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is, but I want to try it" Tony says.

"We're not finished yet" Thor says looking up at the Stark Tower.

"And then shawarma after" Tony says and then turns to me "Thank you"

"You save mine so it was only fair that I saved yours" I replied patting him on the shoulder.

I then teleported all of us up to Loki in the Stark Tower where we met Natasha.

Loki struggles to get up, but once he manages too, he looks up and finds the unbeatable Avengers. Clint pointing an arrow at him, Thor, Tony, Steve, Hulk, Natasha holding his sceptre pointed to him and me black magic flowing out of my hand ready to pin him down.

"If it's all the same to you, I'll have that drink now"

I had arrived back on the carrier to collect my belongings before meeting the Avengers and watching Thor and Loki return to Asgard.

"Agent Parker. I'm glad to see you alive" Fury said as he saw me in the corridor.

"I'm glad to be alive, Sir"

"You'll have a few weeks off before your next mission"

"About that" I said getting a piece of paper out of my bag "This is my notice. I won't be returning to S.H.I.E.L.D for another mission. When the time is right I'll return to the Avengers, but I should be focusing on my family"

"But Agent Parker. You're our best Agent and what about your promise to your parents"

"I also promised that I would take care of my brother. It's a personal matter" 

"Well goodbye Parker. It was an honour to see you grow as an agent"

"It was an honour to serve you Director Fury" I said before continuing to leave the carrier and my agent life behind me.

I was done. My name isn't Agent Parker, it's Victoria Parker, a sister who cares for her brother.

I took one last look at the carrier as the jet set off.

I'm finally going home properly.
