Chapter 8

Monday started great, Nash walked me to every one of my class. Of course, Nash made sure that we were a few minutes early so that Mr. Wall wouldn't be on my ass. And that was really sweet. But the day went to really weird. And it all started at lunch time. Me being by myself, I was sitting alone at the only table that was empty. And Nash, being himself, came over and sat in front of me with a friend of his, I didn't know his name, to be honest.

"Hey Alex" Nash said "Do you mind if we sit here?"

"No, go ahead" I said looking down, then at Nash, then at his friend.

"Oh, Ummm...This is Cameron" Nash said

"Nice to meet you" Cameron said holding out his hand for me to shake

I shook it and looked at him "You too"

"So ummm....Do you want to hang out with us? After school I mean" Nash said getting nervous

"Sure" I said "What are we doing this time?" I asked pushing my food aside and folding my hands. Looking at the both of them.

"Whatever you want" Cameron said

I laughed "So your the firtly type, huh?" I asked

Nash got really nervous and looked at Cameron. Cameron swallowed really hard.

"I'm going to get some.....drink" Cameron said getting up and leaving.

I smiled "You okay, Nashie-Ashie?"

He gave a small smile "Yeah"

"Nash, their is not need to get nervous around me, be yourself." I said

"That's really hard" he said getting more nervous

"Why?" I asked putting my hand on his

"Because, I really like you" he said. His eyes went really huge. "I-I....I mean......"

"What?" I asked as Cameron sat back down with a bottle water. I pulled my hand away from Nash's

"What are we talking about?" Cameron asked taking a drink

"Nothing" "Science"

Me and Nash said at the same time.

"We are talking about what Science has to do with nothing" I said

Nash smiled. 

"Okay" Cameron said as he looked away.

"See, I got you" I mouthed to Nash 

Nash smiled and looked away, then back at me. "Thanks" he mouthed back

"Your welcome Nashie-Ashie" I mouthed back.

I walked to my car once the bell rang, I got into my car and remembered that Me, Nash and Cameron was going to hang out. Then a knock on my window came. I turned on my car and rolled down the window.

"Thanks, for..."

"Your welcome" I said cutting him off 

He smiled and leaned on the door, with his arms on through the window and his hands folded.

"So, what are we doing?" I asked

"Well, were not going into your car" Nash said opening the door "And then, Cameron wants to be a little kid and go get ice cream. We can go to the movies, if you want?"

I rolled up the window and turned off the car. "Its not up to me"

"Oh, yes, it is" Nash said "Your coming with us, so we can do whatever you want"

"Okay, the club" I said

His eyes went big "What?"

I laughed "I'm joking, I'm saving that for later. Cameron wants ice cream, you want the movies, and I will think about it after we do the ice cream and the movies, deal?"

"Deal" Nash said and shook my hand. I closed the door and locked my car. We then walked over to his car meeting Cameron. I had no idea want I wanted.
