Yess. Another one...
Tae's POV
It's Friday, I'm overwhelmed with mixed emotions.
"Everyone, remember that we must return home quickly after your last class. We need to do some shopping for the party." I said, frantically searching for my misplaced wallet. "I'm not sure if we should all go, but I was hoping everyone could join so we can make decisions together.
Also, we must check for allergies and ingredients in the products we buy." I stood in the center of the room, trying to figure out when last I saw my wallet.
"I'm not sure if we should call an aunt to clean while at school or if we should clean ourselves. Wait, where did I put it? Maybe it's in my room." I rushed to my room in hopes of finding it there.
"What's wrong with him?" Minho Hyung asked. Hyunjin explained my behavior to Minho Hyung.
"He is always like this when nervous, he rambles, though it doesn't make sense."
Returning with my bag, I ushered everyone out, "We will be late, all out!" we headed to campus. During lunch, I continued preparing for the party.
I had to make a few calls; the work of perfection embedded in my mind. I called a cleaning agency and asked Mom's secretary to make a few deliveries, and luckily the rental decorations came with decorators. This was a relief since we'd be busy shopping.
Lunchtime ended, and it was time for my next class. After school, I hurried home to find the decorations incomplete. They still needed to set up the lighting and Halloween-themed décor.
I had a few ideas for the bedding; I wanted to use comfortable mattresses, organized in rows, with our initials as name tags since we'd be there for the whole weekend.
The others arrived 13 minutes late, so we went straight to the nearest convenience store. We encountered Felix and Sungie, whom Hyunjin's gaze fixed on. "Hey, what are you doing here?" Hyunjin asked.
He couldn't be more obvious about wanting Felix, "We're buying drinks for the party," Sungie answered, holding a whisky bottle.
I didn't plan on spending the weekend getting drunk, especially since Hyunjin and I had a quiz test on Tuesday and needed to be completely sober on Monday.
"There is no need for that. We are also here to get snacks and drinks, and since we are going to have an ALCOHOL-FREE slumber party... please put that HUGE bottle back Sungie." I pushed the trolley right past them and went to get soft drinks at the end of the aisle.
Hyunjin whispered to Felix and Sungie, "Sorry about that... he is a little unstable... I mean not in the right state of mind right now." He at least tried to.
Irritated, I retorted, "I heard that... Now get you're a** here. Hyungs, can you the fresh fruits from that aisle?"
"Sure." The hyungs immediately did as told.
We returned to the apartment, and the decorations were stunning. "This is so cool, fantastic work Tae! I guess the party's theme is horror movies." Chan Hyung complimented, examining the common room. "But Jisung doesn't like horror movies." And the room's atmosphere completely changed.
"And I know that because Felix doesn't either." Minho Hyung explained himself, but I was too stressed to pay any attention. I planned a healthy meal for our first night and then we can order in tomorrow. Too much junk food isn't good for health, right?
At 6:06, a knock was heard. Yes, as you'd have guessed, they are 6 minutes late.
"Hyung..." Jimin exclaimed, running to Chan Hyungs and embracing him before the twins joined in.
"Little Mochi, Bokkie, Sungie." The younger ones admired the décor and gasps were heard. I didn't realize that I was staring until Jimin said, "This is so cool. Best decor I've ever seen for a slumber party."
"OMG... THIS IS SO COOL..." the twins screamed. Innie realized that I wasn't in the room as they started conversing. He walked into the kitchen, "I'm guessing you are the one responsible for the decorations?" I smiled and he sat on the highchair on the other side of the counter.
"I mostly coordinated the effort, but I'm glad you like it." Innie laughed, his eyes disappearing in amusement.
"So, what's on the menu, Chef Tae?" he placed his elbows on the contour, cupping his face on his hands. I explained the meal, though Innie didn't seem familiar with the dish evident from the confusion written on his face.
"Can I help?" I dropped the onion, and it rolled to Jimin's feet. Everyone was already in their pajamas, as expected.
"S-Sure...Sure." I internally cursed at myself for stuttering.
"Great, I am about to witness a live show of two handsome chefs." Innie chuckled and Jimin smiled.
"Prepare yourself then Innie, because you are about to be blown away." Jimin playfully pointed a specular at Innie, who simply laughed at his friend's enthusiasm and cuteness.
Alcohol is IMPORTANT for motivation... But also drink a lot of water please...
