Meeting the Team

Cara POV:

I took a deep breath before making my way to the entrance of the building and go inside.I look around a bit and see a women sitting behind a big front desk.She smiles at me and i smile back before i can say anything she speaks up.

,,You must be our new signing" she says with a big smile and i nod

,,Ah yes..Cara Gross" i say smiling

,,I know..i call and let Jonas know you are here" she says and grabs the telephone.

I nod and look a bit around why am I suddenly so nervous? I mean I'm just changing the club and the country I live in and well my move will be the biggest transfer fee ever in women's football. Ok now i know again why im so nervous i took again a deep breath and the women speaks to me again

,,Jonas is on his way" she tells me and i thank her and wait for him.

Just a few minutes later he comes with a big smile around the corner

,,Cara..finally.Im so excited to see you again" he says all smiley

I smile big and we hug each other for a short time ,,Well im glad to finally be here"

He smiles and nods ,,Ok so im gonna show you everything a bit and then we gonna sign the contract.Make some Photos and you have to do one or two interviews before you can meet the other girls.They have Training to day and because of all the rumours about you moving here they will be excited to finally see you which they dont know till later" he says and i nod with a big smile

,,All right sounds good" i say.

Jonas shows me the whole training ground before we sign the contract and make the first photos with my new Shirt and my new Number.At Wolfsburg i always had the number 7 for the National Team i always have Number 21 because these were taken i choose Number 14.Which was more than okay since Robby one of my best friends had his birthday on an 14th.

,,If you have nothing to do later we would like to do a few photos in the emirates stadium" Jonas says to me and i nod

,,I would love too" i said and smile again for the next pictures.

I do a few interviews for Arsenal before i get all my Equipment and when i say all i mean all my Equipment.Shirts,Hoodies, Sweatshirts,Sweatpants,Bags,Jackets.
Litreally two full big bags and i even had to leave something by my locker that Jonas showed me because i couldnt fit everything in.I looked to the lockers next to me and read the names.Lia Wälti and Katie Mccabe.I know both a bit Lia played with a few of my Friends at Turbine Potsdam a few years ago and well i know Katie from football everytime we played against each other we got into a bit of a fight but nothing serious because later we just hug each other and are good again.

Jonas smiles to me ,,Wanna meet the Girls ?" he asks and i smile

,,I would love too" i say and we go out to all the training pitches.

I still wear the new Arsenal Shirt with my Number till we just got done with the Photos and i feel more than comfortable in this Shirt.We talk as we walk to the training pitch were i can see the girls running before we reach the pitch and Jonas whistles to get everyone together

,,So Girls..i would like you to meet someone" he says smiley ,,Our new record signing Cara Gross from Germany" he says and i smile to the Group

,,Hey..nice to meet you Girls" i say and shook everyones hand

,,You can thank her because you now got a short break" Jonas smiles and goes away with all the other coaches.

,,You look good in Red" Lia says and i chuckle a bit ,,Thanks"
