I followed Easton to the parking lot and called him several times, but he ignored me. He got into his car, and as I was about to approach him, he suddenly sped off. I stepped back, muttered a curse under my breath, and got into my car.

I decided to follow him because I was curious about why he looked so upset earlier. I have no idea what his problem is, and I didn't expect him to be at the mall since he just came back from abroad. Luckily, there wasn't much traffic on EDSA, so I chased after him. He suddenly turned around the tower and drove into a condominium building.

I caught up with Easton as he parked his car. I parked mine too and we both got out of our cars simultaneously. I called out his name, "Easton!" But he didn't acknowledge me and walked straight towards the elevator. I hurriedly followed him and managed to stop the elevator door from closing. However, he just stared at me coldly without saying a word. I wonder what his problem is.

I entered the elevator and stood next to him. There was an awkward silence between the two of us. It seemed like he had no interest in paying attention to me, as his cold gaze remained fixed on the door. I couldn't help but stare at our reflection in the elevator door.

Just as I was about to break the silence between us, the elevator door opened, indicating that we had reached our desired floor. He quickly stepped out, and I followed him closely, matching his pace. He walked towards his unit and entered the code on his door's password lock.

He opened the door and went into his unit, while I followed closely behind him. Just before he could shut the door, I managed to stop him from closing it.

He was a little surprised by my sudden action, as I almost got my fingers pinched. His face turned pale for a moment. As I went inside his unit, I couldn't help but notice how organized everything was. It was so neat that you could easily mistake it for a woman's place.

"What the hell, Red! You almost got your hand pinched!" he yelled at me.

"Come on, Easton, what's the matter with you? Why are you acting this way all of a sudden?" I replied.

He ran his fingers through his hair in frustration and took a deep breath.

"I'm just tired, Red," he said.

I raised my eyebrows at him. "Really? It didn't seem like that. Your eyes were telling me the opposite."

He turned his back on me, avoiding my gaze.

"And now, you're turning your back on me again. Just tell me what's wrong. I'm not a fortune teller to guess what's going on between us," I said, feeling annoyed.

He stopped and clenched his fist.

"What's your problem, Easton? Please tell me," I said firmly.

"Fine!"

He turned to me and asked,

"You want to know?" He moved closer to me, his cold gaze fixed on me. I stood my ground, meeting his gaze.

I took a deep breath, my heart racing not from excitement, but from fear of what he might say.

He stopped just three inches away from me, and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. I was nervous about what he was about to reveal."

"Baby, I was jealous," he said and he bit his lip.

What?!

I raised my eyebrows at what he said.

"Huh?"

"I was jealous earlier."

I burst out laughing.
