Chapter 11

A.N: I'm back with another chapter written by freezing hands. Alexa play "Fall in love alone by Stacy Ryan"

There has to be something stressful given by the universe after it gave you a miracle, right? Well, it was right in this case.

A meeting was called my Aaron to discuss the latest news about the "creature" that they had encountered a day prior. There they all were, seated around a rounded table, trying to figure out what to do next about the situation at hand.

"So, we figured out the genetic makeup of that creature thanks to raine and the others, and i remember saying that me and Kishimoto would have to go out to find a bit more about this whole ordeal". Aaron starts.

"Yeah, tomorrow's thursday right? we'll go out early in the morning to the same place it happened and backtrack according to the tests the chemists ran. It wouldn't be a problem with the thermal radiation reports"

"Yeah kenji's right, and we also have to schedule a meeting with the other world leaders at the moment, I think their input on this would be helpful, and we'll get to do the monthly debrief this way too" Nazeera says.

"I'll send out a message to them requesting a scheduling. Is this week okay? or should I do the next?" Juliette questions, looking at the others waiting for an answer.

"I think this week's perfect" Warner replies, to which the others nod their head to, agreeing silently.

"Alright then it's settled, Me and Warner leave tomorrow which means we have to prepare the stuff needed"

"We can ask Brandon and Alia to fix something up for us" replies Aaron.

"Great, everyone here okay with the plan?"

Everyone nods their head confirming their willingness.

While Aaron and Nazeera left the room early, Kenji was busy putting away some stuff that looked unusually irritating to him. He didn't notice Juliette standing there waiting patiently for him to finish so she could strangle him with questions.

As soon as Kenji finished what he was doing, he turned around to see Juliette standing right behind me with the most malicious smile a human could muster. Kenji let out a scream before a hand came flying to his mouth, cutting it short.

"Shut it Kenji, I'm not going to murder you or something jeez." She said rolling her eyes.

"Yrha bt wty wher ybou stding thuer luk thdt." Only a muffled noise could be heard from Kenji.

"Huh- oh wait sorry" she said, as she slowly removed her hands from his mouth allowing him to breathe more freely and to also talk.

"I was saying, yeah but why the fuck were you standing there like that, you looked like a serial killer about to murder someone" Kenji shot back, glaring at her slightly.

"Yeah yeah whatever, let me get to the good part" She started a grin spreading on her face, both scaring and confusing Kenji.

"Soooo, what was Naz doing in your room huh? and why were you all cuddled up? You two looked so cute, i even have a picture, you looked so comfortable" She said a grin intact.

The mention of that made Kenji slightly flustered, even though he was more than happy about the experience, it was still another thing to talk about it outloud, it was just confirming that it actually happened which made his thoughts reel again.

"Shut upp, it's none of your buisness okay" He said looking away slightly.

"Oho ho, it IS my business Kenji it is, now tell me, what happened, i need details"

Kenji sighed, there was no escaping this, so he did what he had to, he told Juliette almost everything from the movie to waking up with Nazeera in his arms. When he finished, he looked up at Juliette to see her reaction only to see her completely loosing it and fangirling more than he did.

"MY SHIP IS SAILING, FINALLY KENJI YOU GREW SOME DAMN BALLS TO GO UP TO HER AND TALK TO HER, HECK YOU EVEN CUDDLED AHDHJSJSKS"

Kenji just stared at her completely dumbfounded by his best friends reaction, and it was hilarious the way she was acting, so he couldn't help but crack up on the sight of her.

"Kenji Kishimoto, you better not screw this up you hear me?"

oh hell nah, the universe gave him this opportunity after throwing rocks at him, he would be stupid to screw it up.

"Yes ma'am" he said, fake saluting, which had the duo laughing more.

Maybe the universe isn't that bad, maybe the coffee with sugar keeps you better alive than the bitter one.
