Day & Night [Heeseung X Karina]

Under Her Spell

Today was a pretty solid ordinary day for Heeseung. He attended his classes, rushed to his part-time job, and came back to his dorm just in time for shower and to review his notes for the upcoming quiz he's having next week. Nipping onto the end of his pencil, his eyes trailed after the text carefully.

Easy.

He solved the equation within seconds, taking a highlighter's cap off to scribble onto his work.

"Heeseung hyung," Jake enters the room, frowning.

Sunghoon and Jay's figure followed after.

Heeseung wheeled his chair around, raising a brow at them.

"Didn't you say you and Karina are a thing now? Why is she ..." Jake gulps, looking at his other two friends in the room.

Sunghoon nodded his head. "Go on, he deserves to know,"

Heeseung puts his highlighter down and shuts the book.

"Know what?"

Jake sighed, giving the phone to Heeseung. He then realised that his hyung in fact did not know how Instagram stories work, since the man had little to no presence on social media.

"Here hyung, let me—"

"Is that Karina? Dancing with another man?" The eldest of the four blinked at the screen rapidly, eyebrows furrowing.

"When was this?"

Jake hesitated. "Right now,"

"Right now? What do you mean?"

"I told you she was bad news," Jay muttered, with his arms crossed.

"Jay, now's not the time. Heeseung hyung, what exactly happened at the after-match party last time?" Sunghoon took a seat on the bed from across Heeseung, wanting to help his friend.

"I- I mean, we made out and then she said—"

"WHAT?? YOU MADE OUT?!" Jake scandalously screamed.

"SHHHH!" All three of them shut him up, and Sunghoon encouraged Heeseung to continue.

"And uh she said something that instigated that we were somewhat together,"

"What do you mean somewhat together? Heeseung, you gotta be more clearer that that," Jay tutted in disagreement.

"I can't okay. It's something very private ... and precious to me so I don't want to share it with anyone,"

"Wow. Damn. Okay," Jake huffed in disbelief that his friend would conceal information from him for a girl.

"Okay, but did she say boyfriend-girlfriend specifically? Or even lovers?" Sunghoon continued investigation.

"Or worse. Friends with benefits?" Jay groaned.

"N-No. None of them,"

All three friends sighed.

"Oh boy," Jake squeaked.

There was a moment of silence before Heeseung aggressively stood up from his seat, throwing the rest off-guard. "Where is this club? I want to go," There was a determined look on his face as he rummaged through his closet to look for something badass that would make him look hot. Something that he felt would make Karina glance at him upon entering the place.

"And do what? Punch that guy in the face? Heeseung please, you wouldn't do that," Jay replied, waiting for his friend to reaffirm him.

Heeseung left the room and went straight to his best friend's room. Grabbing a leather jacket off Jay's rack, he walked back into the room where his friends were all waiting.
