Their night, alone

Riley's pov : I get to sleep with my master,EVERY NIGHT!!!!! Okay I need to relax she can hear what I'm saying....   "hey you listening right now?" She looked over at me and nodded. "Do you need me to do something? Anything?!" "Weeellll....you could run me to the mall." "Are you kidding me?! It's almost 8 and the mall closes at 9!" "So? Since you run fast, it will take you approximately 15 minutes to get there. Then you transform back-   another 6minutes. Then it takes us 17 minutes to walk where my favorite stores are. Then they make you leave 10 minutes early so they van clean. That gives us ........um. ........... :( 12 minutes." "See?" "Fine! Then get me sparkling lemonade from the fridge." "Yes master!" I calmly walked out if her room to see her mom in the kitchen. "Oh, hi Riley!" "Hello" I bowed a little to show respect. "No need to do such a traditional greeting!" I was surprised. Normally (as a dog) when u bowed, everyone wanted more from me. "Okay" I went to the fridge and she asked "hey what do you like to eat?" "Anything you guys will eat. But chicken stir fry is my favorite!" "Okay just asking 'cause I was thinking about going shopping later." I continued to open the fridge. U saw the sparkling lemonade and I grabbed it. It's in what seems to be a beer bottle. I went back to Alexandria's room and gave her the bottle. "Hey isn't that beer?" "Uh, no! You must be mistaken by the bottle....they also put sodas in here ya'know!" I thought if it was beer, she would drink it and hurt me like my old master.

Alexandria's pov : Riley was thinking about something. He turned back to dog and I tried to hear his thoughts. I caught what he was thinking. He was thinking of his old master! "Riley, do you still love me?" "Why do you ask?" "I heard you thinking about your old master...." "Yea and how horrible he was to me and how he hurt me!" Oh yeah! I completely forgot! "Oh right! I'm sorry!" Sheesh! I'm so dumb.

Riley's pov : Alexandria has been acting critical around me. She probably can't get her mind off of me hehehe. Alexandria just started karate chopping me on the head! "You JERK DON'T BE SO CONFIDENT ABOUT ME LIKING YOOOUUUU!!!!!!" "Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow...." She stopped. "Huh wa-" she gave me one last chop. "OWWWWWWWW. What was all of that for anyway?" "I heard you thinking about how I was 'head over heels' for you! Only complete bakas would think that!" She started frowning. "But I don't even know why I love you!" "Humans are complex and overall- miscellaneous." "What do you mean?" "I never felt so weird in my whole life. NEVER. Until I met you. What is the meaning of love?" She just stared at me. "I-.....I wish I knew." "Is there no meaning?" "Hmmmmm. I got it! It's an option-based feeling! There isn't one meaning, it's what is special to them!" So that's what it is...

Alexandria's pov : Riley, he was asking me questions. Questions I didn't know the answer to. So I just told him what first came to mind. But...what if I just blurted out was true? "Hey Riley." "Yes" "what does love mean to you?" He sat there and I was assuming he wanted me to read his thoughts. "-ar me? Can you hear me? Can you hear me? Can you hear me?" I nodded. "Love to me, is you." I blushed wildly and layed down on what I thought was my bed. "Huh?....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!¡!!!!!!¡¡¡¡!¡!!" I was laying on Riley! "Uh, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to I swea-" "don't worry, I don't mind. Us shiba inu's are known to be fluffy!" I layed back down. I was blushing as red as a tomato! But he was comfy. I git comfortable. He fell asleep. His tail wrapped around my neck. "Nggghh!" I grabbed a near blanket and closed my eyes. Soon I fell asleep.

The next day.....

Alexandria's pov : "Ugh" Riley was still asleep. He sure is lazy for a dog! I remembered...HE SAID HE CAN'T SLEEP 'CAUSE HE MUST PROTECT ME!!!!if he isn't awake.....FUUUUUUU!!! "Riley, ARE YOU UP?!!" "How did you know?" "Uh! I was making sure 'cause you said you have to protect me." "Of course I never fell asleep. But I still get rest. It's almost like light-sleeping, but not sleeping at all." ? I have no idea what he means. Well it's Sunday. Maybe I should make breakfast. I got up slowly and un wrapped his tail from around my neck. "I'll be back Riley, I'm just making breakfast, okay?" He made the most sad face I've ever seen. "Why must you go?" He said with a fake crying voice. "Riley I just wanna make breakfast. I'll bring you a plate okay? So turn human so if my mom sees you, she won't care." "Yea, right. But can I have a sweater? Human's have no fur whatsoever!" I would just die if I saw him in a sweater again! "Uh, yeeeaaa suuurre." I went to my closet and grabbed the baggiest one so he could feel warm and look really cute! "Here ya go!" "Arigato!" He turned human and put on the sweater. Wow this is big on me! You have anything smaller?" I most certainly did...but he didn't know that! "NOPE!! That's the only one! Sorry!" He was adorable. Even though all he had on was black jeans and a huge grey sweater.

Riley's pov : I needed to make time pass while she was baking. "I'll be in the kitchen if you need me, Riley!" She closed the door. I suddenly had the urge to look through her stuff .(wow totally not stalkeryish!) I saw her dresser. I knew she kept her clothes in her closet so I know I won't find any if her clothes. I looked in the first drawer, nothing. I looked in the second drawer, still nothing. Then, I looked in the third drawer. I found a journal! "Alexandria's precious journal". I wanted to read it soooo bad! I couldn't. I should! Before I knew it, I was reading the first paragraph! "I am so happy today!! I got a new puppy! I named her Holly. She's the best! I thought u should name her Holly since u got her for Christmas." Wow, that hurt! "She's the best!" My butt! Well she was only ten. Awww whatever. I closed it and put it back. "Riley,I got you your plate! Come and get it! Same goes for you, mom!" I closed the drawer and headed to get my plate "there's egg bacon and toast. I basically make this all the time." ....BACON?!???!!?!?!?!!!!!¡Wooowww! It looks like since she was busy making breakfast, she didn't hear my thoughts. If she did, I would've been long dead! I grabbed the plate. "Thank you!!"

Alexandria's pov : Riley looks so cute in that sweater! "Hey Alexandria, can I have this sweater?" ....."YYEEEEEESSSHSHSHHSHHHS!!¡¡¡!!!!¡!!!!¡" "Okay, sheesh." Haha I got too excited there for a second. I need therapy. "Okay ima sleep in." "Me too!" "You don't even sleep, Riley!" "Oh, yea right." He is so dumb sometimes. I went to my room and Riley followed. And what u least expected came out Riley's mouth. "Do you wanna sleep on me again?" Wtf+!+!?!! "Sure." He turned into his dog form and layed on my bed. I layed my head on his stomach. He wrapped his tail around my neck again. "Why do you do that?" "Do what?" "The tail thing!" "Oh...don't you like my tail?" Of course I do. "Well, yea!" "Then don't ask." Well that was harsh. I started hugging him. "What?! What are you doing?!" "What does it look like?"
