"WILLY!!" We shouted in union. "We'd thought you'd gone!" Noodle sates. "I did. Slugworth promised you a
better life - but he didn't exactly keep his word. So I came back. We all did!" He said.We pop our heads out the hatch and see Willy has roped four ladders together. The others stand at the bottom of the ladder, waving to us.
"He wants her locked up forever." I stated."Well, of course he does." He said. He then gets a screwdriver out of his cane and starts dismantling the coop from the outside."Why? What's he got against me?" Noodle asks."I don't know, Noodle, not for sure. All I know for certain is you won't be safe until he's behind bars." He said.We then saw Abacus climb up the ladder to the coop.
"And how exactly is that supposed to happen?" He asked."Abacus! You said the Cartel keep a record of all their dirty deeds..." Willy said. "In the greed ledger." Abacus confrims."So if we could get ahold of that, we could prove they pay Scrubitt and Bleacher to poison our chocolate. They'd all go to jail, and we'll all be free." Willy states.
"Yes, but may I remind you they keep that ledger in a vault..." Abacus began. "Guarded by a corrupt cleric..." Lottie continued popping her head in."And five hundred chocoholic monks." Larry ended. "That's all true. But I went for a long, cold swim this morning. Cold water's very good for the brain. Stimulates the neural pathways. And just after just four miles, I figured out how two ingenious girls , an accountant, plumber, telephone operator, and man who can talk
underwater could combine those talents and pull of the heist of the century. "He said.
"But even if we could get our hands on that ledger, the Cartel will simply bribe their way out of trouble. It's what they do." Abacus said with worry."The greedy beat the needy, Willy," I said. "It's just the way of the world." Noodle said."You're right, girls . I hate to admit it, but you are. Which is why there's one other thing to do." Willy said."What's that?" I asked. "Change the world." He said. he unscrewes the hatch, which springs open and falls to the ground.
"Where do we start?" We ask in excitement. "Well, first, we need to get you down." He said and carefully walked off the ladder. Me and Noodle followed him. Once we were safely down. I ruched over to Willy and hugged him like my life depended on it. "Don't ever scare me like that again." I said tearfully. I felt him hug me tighter. "Never again, my love, I promise." He said, then he leaned in and kissed me.
A few moments later me and Noodle were at the Cathedral dressed up as beggars to deploy the first phase of our plan. The priest arrives at the cathedral. He knocked on the door. As he waits for the monks to open the doors, we approached him.."Excuse me, sir, could you spare a piece of chocolate for me and my sister ?" I asked him politely."I'm sorry, my dear, I don't have any on me." He said and turned around, but we saw him stuff a piece in his mouth the jerk.
"Oh." Noodle said in mock sadness."Then have some acacia mints." She said and placed some mints in his pocket without even him noticing. "Yess well done, Noodle!" I praise as the Priest went inside. We high-five and went on our way and waited for Willy to arrive with Abigail.
The workers finally arrived with the truck, Willy Noodle and I placed ourselves in the crate while they pushed us inside the cathedral. Once we are inside, we run towards the elevator, which leads to the underground basement. Abacus pulled the lever and and we went Ping! The elevator arrives in the crypt.The Mistress of the Keys looks up, surprised, as the elevator doors open. She walks over to see a box of chocolates wrapped in a ribbon and has been placed on a little stand.
"With thanks for all your hard work, Father Julius and the Chocolate Cartel. Oh, that's sweet." She said with a smile.She eats one of the chocolates. little does she know. It's a "Big Night Out" - the same chocolate we gave the Zoo Security Guard.Willy and Noodle and I - hidden above the elevator - watch as she
starts singing and dancing. "Wow, she can really move." Willy whispered, and I had to refrain myself from laughing. Just then, she hits the whisky fudge.
"I've wasted my life! Could've been happy, but I threw a pearl away! I'll give him a call." She said. She then picks up a phone and dials."Basil? It's Gwennie." Willy and Noodle and I share an astonished look its the gaurd from the zoo ."What are the chances?" Noodle whispered as we watched how this played out.
"You were right. Those days in chemistry classes were the happiest of my life." The misteress said.But then - WHUMP! She passes out. That's our que. We leap down from their hiding place and head over to the vault door. We take the key from around the Mistress of the Keys' neck and unlock the enormous door. We pull it open......to find ourselves in the vault, face to face with a mass of pipes, controls, and machinery. "Cool." Noodle said, and we went in....
