Just Friends

"Hey Andrea!" Alex screamed my name when I was walking inside the school gate. I knew my day was going to be bad now. I looked back with tiredness on my face and made an bad face and looked at him.

He ran towards me, he was smiling at me. "What's there to be so happy?" I mumbled. He came to me and said. "Yo andrea wassup!?" I replied "nothing's up." He kept his arm of my shoulder. "Let's go." He said. I looked at him and said "you! Get off your hand."

"Leave it let's go we are getting late!"

"Ugh!"

Then we walked into the class in the same position. Everyone glared at us. Those 7 Rocking donkeys oh sorry! I'm mean 7 Rocking fairies headed towards us. Hazela looked at me with anger then said "I think you should leave my man, don't you dare to look at him!"

She was ready to throw a bottle of water on me but before that Alex came infront of me and all the water was spilled on Alex.

"A-Alex i-i didn't mean to do th- that." Hazela was scared that she might lose him. "If you dare to even touch her again I will cut off your neck got it?"
Alex looked a lot concerned about me.

I looked at him. I was shook, like why would a popular, Rich, most attractive guy of our school would defend me? I was confused but at the same time my heart started fluttering. I got so mad at myself that why would my heart flutter because of him.

"Are you defending her?" Hazela was mad at me.

"Yes, I am. Any problem?" Alex was in anger.

"Alright then forget about me." Hazela faked cry.

"Okay now go." He seem like he didn't give a damn.

Hazela was shocked and humiliated. She left the classroom without saying a word.

"Are you okay?" I asked him. "Yes don't worry about me." He replied.
"Here you go, hankie." I offered him my hankie.
"It's okay." He replied.
"C'mon use it!" I forced him.
He took the hankie and used it.

After the school was over we walked out of the gate together. He asked me if we could go to hangout somewhere tomorrow because tomorrow was weekend. I agreed. We walked to my home. "Okay then see you tomorrow." He said. "Sure." I smiled.

I walked into the house. My mom was at the kitchen, dad was still in the office, elder sister at work and lastly the most annoying person my younger brother was at home.

Paxton (my brother) looked at me. He shouted "Mom do you know Andrea was with a guy today!"
I gave an angry look at him but until then mom replied "so what, you don't talk to girls huh!?"
I smirked.
He was annoyed.

I headed upstairs to my room. Then I closed my door. I put my school bag on the table and unzip it but there was something. It was a CHOCOLATE! who gave me this? I kept it on my table and went to change. After that I went downstairs to have dinner.

"Yo!" (Anna my elder sister) said.
"Yo!" I replied.

We started eating but then Anna asked me "who was that guy that came to drop you off?"
"Oh him, he was my new classmate we are friends." I replied.
"They are more than friends!" Paxton interrupts.
"Shut your mouth and eat Paxtonnn!"
I put sushi in his mouth.

After dinner I went to my room and sat when I saw that the chocolate had an note and a necklace. I read the note there was written-

"I don't know which chocolate you like, I just wanted to gift you something as a nice friend please wear this necklace tomorrow."

The necklace was so pretty and the chocolate was also favourite one. I felt good. I texted him "thankyou Alex, I love the necklace and the chocolate is also my favourite."

He replied "oh you're welcome."

Then I put my phone on my chest and smiled.

It was a nice day today.
