The days pass by in a flash and suddenly it's our last night all together. Cornelia needs to go back to her apartment, and Jiu is returning back to 대전. I learned the night we all went drinking that she's only an hour away so she said she's going to come visit as much as she can. She told me not to be bothered if she drives up every weekend to see me haha. It's something I definitely welcome. Cornelia literally lives like ten minutes walking from me so I'm not worried about never seeing her. She already said she'd come over after work sometimes and maybe crash at my place since we live so close. Honestly, it sounds like a lot of fun so it'll be interesting for sure.

We've got a whole day planned out an entire day chock full of fun things to do and see. The girls both made the itinerary and are surprising me by not telling me where we're going or what we're doing. I think normally it would make me anxious, but today I welcome it and let it be something exciting.

We start our day with a subway ride, it's nice because I slowly am growing accustomed to travelling around Seoul. Not that I've been to that many places yet, but traveling like this will get me accustomed to life in Korea. It's a beautiful day though the weather grows chillier out. I decided on a charcoal dual zip cable knit sweater, navy cargo pants with bows on the pockets, my platform bone coloured Crocs, and my matching cream slouchy cross body bag. It's cute and my comfort outfit and today my main goal is to be comfortable. I top it off with the pair of Gentle Monster glasses Neli got me for my birthday and a metal drippy looking claw clip. It's definitely giving cool girl vibes. I bring my baseball cap just in case. Though it's my comfort outfit it also is my confident outfit. I'm not sure why, but I just feel good and that gives me a lot of confidence as much as it does comfort.

Cornelia is wearing a white denim skirt, a slate blue tube top, a powder blue button up open over it with the sleeves rolled up, her grey velvet Nike low dunks, and her matching blue Marc Jacobs small crescent shoulder bag. Jiu is a bit simpler with light loose fit denim, a white tee, a brown and white thin striped button up, some white Nikes with colourful swoosh, and a neutral cream tote bag with a Roo Bagel logo on it. I've seen it so many times through Snapchat it's funny to now see it in person.

We all just listen to music or play with our phones on the subway. I catch up on some of my favourite Webtoons that I haven't read for at least a few weeks or so. It's nice just to sit and just relax. At some point I stop reading and just close my eyes. For some reason the scene from the convenience store flashes in my mind again. I feel so bad about what happened. Thinking back, I'm not sure why, but locking eyes with him made my heart skip a beat. I'm sure it was more of a feeling of panic, but he really did have beautiful eyes.

I feel a light tap and Jiu is gesturing that the next stop is ours. I pack away my headphones and we prepare to get off. The nice thing about not planning the day or knowing about the plans is that I can't get anxious or mad when things don't go according to plan because I don't even know what the plan is. I just know that it'll be a good day.

When we get off the subway we follow the flow of people. We stop at a cafe to get breakfast which is of course savory and delicious. The one thing I'm starting to love about Korea is all the cafes. They all vary from style to what they offer and it's nice that there's a variety to choose from. We're walking towards what looks like a welcome centre with N Seoul Tower in the distance. I'm putting together the pieces slowly, but for the first part of the day I assume we're going there. The girls pull out their phones talking to an attendant and we end up with three round-trip tickets for the cable car up to the Tower. There apparently is a walking trail, but since we have a whole day ahead of us the girls decided the cable car would be the best option. I'm inclined to agreed just because of the views from the cable car alone.

We basically take a trolly up to what I'd call a cable car station then we wait in line for the cable cars. When it's our turn we all pile into this cable car with other people. We squeeze into a spot close to the window and thank goodness we did because it makes the whole ride worth it. The views from the cable car are amazing. You see everything differently. We climb up and over trees slowly furthering ourselves from the buildings. That's one of the main things that drew me to Seoul. How even though there's city life there's also greenery and nature. When I went to New York it felt so suffocating with only concrete and construction surrounding you no matter where you go. Central Park didn't impress me either, but I'm sure for the people that live there it's the only source of greenery to keep them from losing their sanity.
