I yawned and found myself looking back at my leather watch as the clock struck 2.30 am.
I glanced at the guy sitting beside me, for a while I wondered what was it that made broken people immune to sleep. Shouldn't they feel sleepy?
Somehow the more I tried to force my sleepiness away the more droopy my eyes seemed to get...
.
.
.
."?!" I woke up with a jolt.
"How long have I been asleep?!"
With eyes now wide opened I looked around. The sky glowed violet near the horizon hinting it was near sunrise but it was still quite dark. My shoulder slumped down. I must have been asleep for quite a while, I couldn't help but wondered if the man beside me slept at all.
It took me a while until I finally noticed the leather jacket draped over my shoulders. It must be his.
My eyes soften, "you should have kept your jacket with you."
"I told you to leave," he replied in a voice that sounded too raw from a tired and heavy heart.
"Yeah you did," I narrowed my eyes at him.
"-And I told you I'm not going anywhere."
