. JASPER BLACKWOOD .

It's been a week since Victoria has not been at school now I don't need anyone thinking I'm worried or anything but I won't lie I have been itching to check up on her, ever since I heard she was attacked something spiked inside of me, I don't like her nor do I feel anything for her so why am I all of a sudden so concerned about her well-being.

Victoria has been the talk of the school, word spreads fast in a school like Bechtel high since all everyone actually does is talk shit and gossip. Though in her case it's not bad talk besides the odd one or two people that generally don't like Victoria but then again it's the people no one likes either way, the group that hangs out in the shadows thinking they look all mysterious but actually look like a bunch of helpless losers who are scared of the light.

I got out of my car opening and closing the door as I found my way to stand now outside of the car before I lock it, the black glossy look had left my reflection in it but it was definitely due for a wash as I notice a couple finger prints over the door and then some dirt on the lower parts.

My father's obviously out as per usual nothing out of the ordinary I guess, my fingers flip through my keys to find the correct one for my front door. After finding the right one I inserted the key into the lock and twisted it until the familiar click had echoed my empty front porch indicating the door was now unlocked leaving me to twist the handle and push the door open allowing me to step inside my house that held a cold air, a wave of relief washed over me at the feeling of being home after another long day at school that was only now getting panicked over the start of the time of the year.

My house was nice and cool compared to the heat of the outside world, probably the worst thing about Australia is the heat that comes with it not the animals nor the druggies but the heat. I'm more of a rainy weather fan, it's cooler and I don't have to desperately try to find different ways to keep cool during the day.

After finding my way to my bedroom I slip inside and get dressed into a more comfy set of clothes which were just a pair of sweatpants no shirt, tossing my laundry into the laundry basket I moved to throw myself onto my bed. Once I come in contact with the soft and comfy material of my black sheets a content sigh escaped my mouth before I grab my phone.

Without even noticing I found myself on Victoria's instagram page just scrolling through all of her posts, she hardly posts anything. Her most recent was 3 weeks ago on a Saturday while she was at the beach with her friends, they're all posing sticking their tongues out in the water. The more I scrolled the more I feel the itch to reach out, the more I feel the need to know she's okay.

I soon pull up our chat that is really only me asking her for a couple of homework answers but her response is always 'you think I did it either?' In which I know is true but I always ask anyway.

I allowed both of my thumbs to run across the screen to type out a message in which I tried to make it look like I didn't care at all but in the end we all know you cants just send someone a text asking if they're okay and not sound concerned in even the slightest.

J
— "Lilith told me what happened, don't take this the wrong way but are you okay?"

It didn't take long for Victoria to read my text, her texting bubble had popped up in the corner of the screen and it made me double think if I should have even sent her a text in the first place.

V
—"Awh. Your worried about me? How sweet."

The regret had soon melted away as I read her response  in which had managed to pull a slight chuckle from my throat seeing that she had decided she'd leave a more our styled text instead of the more serious type.
