Chapter 10

The arena was still getting repaired after the titanic fight between Kris-K' Team and Adel Teams and the confrontation between Kris and Ryoma. The sun had set and everyone were anticipating the next battle.

[In the forest a little far away]

Iori was still training in the forest and seemed to be very tired after taking so long training.

Iori: I won't give up now, I'm close to learning the ultimate power that has never been achieved in my clan.

???: You need to take a break you know.

Iori turned around and saw Akiha and Yasakani leaning against a tree.

Iori: I'll take a break after i have achieved the ultimate power of our clan.

Yasakani: I see, you want to achieve that old power that the Yasakani clan once had. I don't think it exists due to the influence of The Orochi power that we had, i don't think it has returned even though we restored the essence of a Yasakani.

Yasakani turned around and walked away before looking at Iori.

Yasakani: I hope whatever your planning doesn't cost us our match, i believe you know what you're doing and do not fail me. Come on Akiha, let's go watch the match between the Neo Japan Team and The Kusanagi Brothers Team.

Akiha: Right honey.

The two of them vanished out of sight, leaving Iori who just continued training.

[Kris-K' Team Locker Room]

A healed up K' was sitting on a seat with Maxima while Kris was leaning against the wall in the room.

K': Kris, you need help right now. You nearly killed me and Maxima out there and you were gonna kill our opponents.

Kris: I'm sorry. The memories of Isolde's death brought so much rage within me and that was the opening my other half needed to take over and be the dominant personality.

Maxima: The cage worked for a short time than I anticipated. Your power is getting very higher each time you feed on your hatred and anger, i fear that this power will destroy your body.

Kris: I know that, i asked my mom to place the curse blood seal on me and she agreed.

The door suddenly opened and Kris along with his teammates saw Kula coming inside.

K': What do you want here? We gave all of you a clear message that we didn't want anyone to come after we won our match.

Kula: I know, I'm just here to check on Kris.

K' and Maxima looked at Kris, who just sighed and walked outside the locker room with Kula. When they were outside the room, they leaned against a wall.

Kula: Are you gonna be okay after what happened during the tournament?

Kris: I'll be fine, how are you feeling? I know you had a horrible nightmare yesterday.

Kula: How do you know?

Kris: I can tell when you are troubled and what is the cause of it. What kind of nightmare did you have?

Kula: I dreamt of you leaving me, i begged you not to leave me but you didn't listen and knocked me out before I could do anything, you also had a troubled look on your face. It didn't feel like a nightmare at all, it felt like it was real.
