Chapter 12

[With Yasakani and his teammates]

Yasakani and his teammates were walking to the arena to hear the announcement.

Yasakani was wearing a shortsleeved white shirt underneath a grey hoodie, black baggy pants, black socks and black and white sneakers. He also wore a black bandana around his forehead and a golden necklace.

Iori wore a tattered white dress shirt with an upturned collar and cuffs, red pants, blacl low-heeled boots, and a black ankle-length trenchcoat with the Yasakani crest marked on the back.

Akiha wore a white shortsleeved shirt revealing a little bit of her flat stomach underneath a black unbuttoned coat with a white thin Yasakani crest marked on the back, a black miniskirt with black compression underneath, white socks and brown loafers.

Akiha: So what do you think the announcement is about?

Yasakani: I may know, but I think it's for the best that we hear from the host herself.

Iori: What's with the hoodie and bandana?

Yasakani: Not only am I a musician, but I'm also a motherfuckin thug. I just wore it because I miss dissing and spitting.

Iori: Good, so have you come up with a way to deal with Shin once we fight him once again?

Yasakani: During my training alone, i invented techniques which could help us deal with Shin and I hate to say this, but I'm going to need your assistance.

Akiha: I hope it has nothing to do with using us as your shield.

Yasakani: No, we will train together so that I can teach you a thing or two when we fight Shin.

The three of them suddenly saw airship flying high up and there were a little bit of people on the street.

Iori: Why are there many airships flying to the sky?

Yasakani: Round 3 of the tournament is gonna take place on the sky stage. Kris had built an arena in the sky and used his gravitational inventions to lower the gravity to zero so that the arena could remain floating.

Akiha: Why can't we see it?

Yasakani: They used the sample of Ms Icy's unbreakable barrier which makes everything within it invisible. Rose is a fool.

Iori: Are you talking about the barrier?

Yasakani: Yes. Those barriers are not as strong as the originals. The original ones can withstand any attack without even cracking, but these ones can easily crack. Why didn't she ask Shin or Ms Icy to create a barrier themselves.

Akiha: Good point, should we go and ride on one of the aircrafts or fly there using our flaming disc.

Yasakani: I have my own way of walking in the air.

Yasakani jumped up and pulled on the soul of the air beneath his feet, creating a flickering of a black luminescence as Yasakani was casually standing in the air.

Iori: How can you do that?

Yasakani: Easy, i have manipulated the soul contained within the air to move in the air. Everything in this world has a soul even rudimentary objects possess a soul but small. For example, by pulling on the soul of the water, you can easily walk on the surface without even falling through.

Iori: So that's what the training we did early in the morning was about.

Akiha and Iori nodded at one another before the two of them jumped up and pulled on the soul of the air beneath their feet, creating a flickering of a red luminescence as the two of them walked on the air surface to Yasakani before the three of them leaped high up while running on the air surface.
