Vanessa and Ryoma were in the middle of the arena in their respective fighting stances.

Ryoma: This is gonna be fun, I saw your performance in the previous rounds and I have to say, I'm really impressed.

Vanessa: We all saw that you are good at hand-to-hand combat, but how good are you at boxing?

Ryoma: I learned all kinds of combat and boxing is one of them. Don't think that I'm gonna go very easy on you just because you are a lady.

Vanessa: I wouldn't want it any other way, I'll punch the taste out of your mouth if you underestimate me just because I'm a woman.

Ryoma: With a fierce spirit like that, how can I underestimate a pretty lady like you. Let's do this.

Rose: [On Screen] RYOMA KUSANAGI VS VANESSA!!! READY! GO!!!

Ryoma lunged out at Vanessa while creating an explosive sonic boom and threw a powerful left hook, which Vanessa dodged by swerving aside before Vanessa threw a whip-like jab at Ryoma, who blocked it with an upper block and slid back away from Vanessa. Ryoma lunged out at Vanessa and threw a right hook, which Vanessa dodged by stepping back and threw a barrage of light speed whip-like jabs, which Ryoma blocked with his forearms while stepping back away from Vanessa, who still took steps at him while throwing a barrage of light speed whip-like jabs, which Ryoma continued to block while taking a couple of steps back before he bobbed his head underneath one of the incoming whip-like jabs and delivered a body hook, causing Vanessa to gasp in pain before Ryoma delivered an overhead uppercut, knocking Vanessa a couple of feet back.

Vanessa zoomed in on Ryoma and threw a barrage of light speed whip-like jabs, which Ryoma blocked while swerving aside back and forth to dodge some of them before he stopped blocking and effortlessly tanked 13 of them to the face before delivering a powerful left cross to the face, knocking Vanessa back. Vanessa suddenly threw a barrage of light speed whip-like left and right hooks at Ryoma, who dodged them by swerving side-by-side while bobbing his head down before he threw a whip-like jab at Vanessa's gut, causing her to groan out in pain but continued to throw a barrage of light speed whip-like left and right hooks at Ryoma, who stopped dodging and blocked the strikes while grinning at Vanessa, who was getting annoyed.

Vanessa threw a powerful right hook to the side of Ryoma's face, creating a big shockwave before Vanessa threw a chopping right at Ryoma, who dodged it by moving aside and smugly smirked at Vanessa. Vanessa lashed out at Ryoma with a barrage of light speed whip-like jabs, which Ryoma effortlessly dodged by weaving aside back and forth while looking for an opening and effortlessly tanked 3 jabs to the face and swerved aside as Vanessa stopped with her assault. Vanessa threw a barrage of hard whip-like jabs at Ryoma in a machine gun-like motion, prompting Ryoma to block with his left forearm while swerving aside back and forth to avoid getting caught off guard before he bobbed his head down to avoid one of the jabs.

Ryoma began to sway around back and forth to dodge the jabs without even trying before finally dodging the last one and Vanessa followed it up with a barrage of light speed whip-like left and right hooks at Ryoma, who dodged them by swaying aside continuously before he bobbed his head down underneath one of the incoming jabs and lunged out at Vanessa before delivering an earth-shattering left hook to the side of the ribcage, causing Vanessa to scream out in pain as she coughed up a lot of blood while staggering back and fell down on one knee while trying to catch her breath as she was having a hard time breathing before she got up and felt pain on the side of her ribcage before she got in her fighting stance.

Ryoma lunged out at Vanessa, who threw a barrage of light speed whip-like hard jabs at Ryoma, who dodged them by swaying aside back and forth, prompting Vanessa to take steps back while throwing a barrage of light speed whip-like hard jabs at Ryoma, who continued to dodge them while forcing Vanessa to move back. Ryoma threw a right hook at Vanessa, who dodged it by swerving aside and stepped back as Ryoma lunged at her and followed it up with a left hook, which Vanessa dodged by stepping back and threw a right whip-like hard jab at Ryoma, who dodged it by bobbing his head underneath and threw an uppercut, which Vanessa dodged by stepping back and blocked a follow-up right jab from Ryoma.
