The Legendary Light Warrior

Chapter 2 Part 6

Now as the sisters pass the time with their chats, while Ateam cuddles with Miku in her arms as he rests his head on her neck and listens to their conversation.

"So how did you two meet or find Ateam?" Aprila asks.

"Well we found him in our backyard," Lina answers.

"Ya, he was inside a big ball of light, when we found him," Miku adds.

"Really? That's quite the story," Aprila says with a bit of surprise in her voice.

"Yes, but that's not all, Lina continues, "from what he told us, he is one of the sons of our Lord.

"So he was an angel, that was one of the Lord's many children?" She asks.

"Yes, though I don't think he's an angel anymore," Lina answers, "He would of had wings and that holy angelic glow about him."

"That's true," Aprila says, "But then, what he is now, if not an angel?"

As the three ponder this, Ateam answers, saying, "I'm a light warrior."

This catches the girls by surprise as they thought he was sleeping.

"Were you listening to our conversation this whole time? Miku says.

"We thought you were sleeping? Lina adds.

"Sleeping?" Ateam says confusingly, "What's sleeping?

"It's a condition of body and mind that typically recurs for several hours every night," Lina explains, "in which the eyes are closed, the postural muscles relaxed, the activity of the brain altered, and consciousness of the surroundings practically suspended."

"Oh ok," Ateam says as he gets the idea, "But no, I was just listening to your guys' conversation."

"Oh," Aprila says, "well speaking of light warrior, is that what you are now?"

"Yes," he answers, "that is my race now."

"So what are you doing here?" Aprila asks, curiously.

"I'm here to protect this world from the forces of evil," he answers.

"Not to be discouraging, but you don't seem capable of handling evil forces in your state," Aprila says, nervously.

"Well, your not wrong," he says sadly lowers his head slightly, "Plus small parts of me are scattered though out the multiverse, which is why I won't be any good against strong enemies."

"Wait, what do you mean small parts of you?" Miku asks, looking confused by what he said.

"Well I asked the Lord to spilt parts of me through out the multiverse in order to protect them all, which means I won't be at my full strength," he says, "so I'll have to train myself to get stronger, however I need to find a place that will greatly improves my training."

"Oh I see," she says.

"Well, there's a gym around here, you could use," Aprila says, "but the people may probably not allow you, due to your age."

"Man that stinks," he says sadly.

"Well, we can get you starter exercise equipment," says Miku, "That way you'll have something to give you a good workout."

"I guess so," he says with sigh, "though I appreciate it, it isn't going to be enough to help me catch up to my rebelled siblings and to mention against powerful villians."

"That's true," Lina says in a serious tone, "But don't worry, we'll think of something. For now, let's enjoy the time we have together, ok?"

"Ok," he says.

"By the way, did you enjoy food?" Lina asks.

"Yeah, it was great!" he says, happily, "The nuggets were good, but the double cheese burger was the best."

"We're glad you liked it." Miku says as she rubs her warm cheek on his, which he enjoys.

"Well, ready to go, Miku?" Lina asks.

"Yeah," Miku says with a sigh as she puts Ateam down, "We'll be going now to do our job, you behave with our sister, ok."

"Ok," he says sadly, "But do you guys have to go?" As he hugs her leg and lays his cheek on it, while looking up at her, waiting for her response.

Miku smiles warmly and puts her hand on his head, assuring him that they will be back soon and then the two give Ateam a hug.

Once they did their sweet moment, the twin sisters head off to their job, while Aprila looks after Ateam.
