Living a nightmare

As I walked along the snowy street only the moon guiding my way, my eyes filled with tears, glossing over my already tired eyes. As I thought of all the bad things that happened in my life.

I had no idea where I was headed or were I should go, all I know is that I had to run, run far away from home...

Diana's P.O.V
"Hey Johnny, hey ponyboy!" I yelled from across the street so they would wait up for me, they invited me to meet dally with them at the drive-in, the sun was already setting so I had to hurry to catch up.

As I ran up to them Johnny spoke "Hey Diana!" Johnny said looking pleased that I decided to follow up on there offer to go to the drive-in. "Hey Diana glad you decided to come" pony said in a happy tone.
"Well I didn't want to miss out on all the fun, I love going to the movies especially with you two." I said smiling a toothy grin.

"Come on guys we gotta hurry the sun is setting, we'll be late!" I said out of breath from running up to them. "Shucks Diana maybe you gotta slow down on your smokin, you barely made it to us alive" Johnny chuckled at his comment "shut your trap Johnny I just ain't feeling the best today that's all." I said giving him a stern look "woah.. woah.. I didn't mean to offend you" Johnny said putting his hands up in surrender. I smiled.

"Diana's right we gotta get going before it gets to dark" pony spoke up, me and Johnny both nodding in agreement of fear of getting jumped by the socs.

We jogged the rest of the way to the drive in, as we made it to the small whole in the fence I thought I was gonna die. " maybe Johnny was right about the smoking" I thought to myself even though I would never admit it to him.

"You alright?" I looked up to see dally, Johnny and ponyboy already on the other side of the fence. I wonder how long I zoned out for, my face flushed of embarrassment. " yea I'm alright, I just need a cigarette" I said while slipping under the fence, and pulling a cigarette out of my pocket.

We found a few empty seats next to each other,
I passed some cancer sticks out one each of the boys "hey thanks Diana" dally winked as me as he lit up his smoke... ponyboy and Johnny went to get us all popcorn and cokes so me and dally waited and smoked on a weed.

a couple of girl socs sat in the row bellow us making dally do his usual stunt of tryina pick them up especially the red headed girl he seemed to like so much.

"Now this is some fine hair you got here, is this your real hair?" Dally said playing with the girls hair, the girl hiding a smirk.
"How do I find out if this is yo- your real red hair..? Is it the same you got on" dally paused and pointed down then smoothly pointed to her eyebrows "on your eyebrows?" The girl was not pleased

"GET LOST HOOD" the girl yelled at dally, dally furrowed his eyebrows " I'm sorry.. I just didn't know you had this- this problem of yelling in my face." Just as he said that Johnny and pony came back with the popcorn and coke, as ponyboy passed dally his coke the girl ripped it outs his hands and threw it at his face. "AHAHAHAA" me and pony roared with laughter, Johnny keeping quiet.

"You son of a bi-" dally was cut off.

"Leave her alone dal." Johnny spoke up against dally "what did you say to me?" He looked shocked that Johnny would say that to him "just leave her be.." he said quieter than the first time
"Fine. I know where I'm not wanted" then dally left.
