Arthur pov
When I told Orlando I wanted the remaining Bafolk corpses buried, he looked shocked then gritted his teeth, and seethed, though I couldn't blame him, especially for what had recently happened.
Orlando: Are you serious?! Do you want to give these monsters a burial?! After what they put those people through and what they planned to do?! Why?!
Agravain was about to step in until I raised my hand to signal him to stop.
Arthur: I know it's a hard request for you, but think of it this way. Can you imagine dying Amid battle and no one knowing who you are and leaving your corpse to rot without even giving you a second thought as they leave you for whatever creatures may come to feed off you? ( I may need to use charisma skills in this situation)
Orlando gritted his teeth more.
Orlando: Would it be so wrong to let their corpses get what they deserved?!
Arthur: Unless you wish to be as monstrous as you say they are!!!
Orlando was shocked at how I raised my voice. Even I was surprised I never thought I'd ever do something like that. I wonder if it's because I'm now King Arthur that I did that. But I continued.
Arthur: If you believe they are so evil, why stoop to their level? * I let out a sigh * I don't believe that their entire race is evil; they may just have bad leadership.
Orlando: Tch bad leadership is one way of putting it.
Arthur: Even so. We should at least give their corpses a proper grave it would be cruel not to.
Orlando was in deep thought his face showed he was conflicted until he let out a sigh of defeat.
Orlando: Very well, we can give them a proper grave.
Arthur: Excellent now to move on to a more pressing matter.
Orlando: Oh? What's that?
Arthur: A potential of more Bafolk coming here again.
Orlando: You're right. You destroyed Zorzal and his army, and when Buser the Bafolk leader is unable to contact them, they will take action.
I pondered on how to proceed but didn't take long as the idea was simple.
Arthur: I have an idea.
Guinevere: Whatever you need, we are here for you, my love. * smiling *
My knights looked at us, and all agreed with Guinevere, making me proud to have them with me not as npc but as actual people.
Arthur: Thanks, let's return to Velna village. The king has an important announcement.
Orlando: You have an announcement? But wouldn't that expose you?
Arthur: Not at all.
I whispered my plan to my wife, and she started grinning at the idea. My knights were confused by our actions, though Mordred was a little irritated rather than confused.
Mordred: What's going on? What are you guys planning, Auntie?
Guinevere: * smiling * You'll see.
Arthur: Orlando, once we reach the village, I would like you to bring the people to the North gate.
Orlando: Oh uh sure no problem.
Orlando pov
We all headed back to the village. I'm not sure what he could be planning, but so far, he hasn't done anything not to trust him, and why would his wife be involved in his plan? All I could really do was hope for the best. As we finally returned, my men welcomed us back, though some were still unnerved by the light of Arthur's lance, and I can't blame them.
