✨Malfoy and the Riddle minions; a great first impression✨
"Sage, honey, follow me please," Molly shouted over everyone in Diagon Alley. It was very crowded and hard to hear.
As Ginny appeared in the fireplace behind me, coughing, she grabbed my hand and we followed Molly through the crowd.
"Now, first we have to go to Gringotts, as always," Arthur said, trudging through the crowded street.
As we made our way, Ron tripped and fell, he's such a clutz sometimes. In doing so, he lightly nudged this platinum blond kid who seemed to be our age.
"Ron! Are you ok?" I questioned, helping him up.
"Watch it! Red head, must be a Weasley," The boy said, glaring at him, the two brunette boys beside him snickering, "Watch where you're going Weasley."
"Platinum blond and stuck up, must be a Malfoy," I retaliated, stepping in front of Ron, "And your little minions, Riddles of course."
"Can't speak for Tom, but I am no minion," The one I assumed to be Mattheo replied.
"Awe, are you a big boy?" I provoked, giving a sarcastic sympathetic look.
With that, I took Ron and Ginny's hands and kept walking toward the bank, rushing to catch up with the fiery red-heads I could see a couple meters away.
"There you lot are!" The twins exclaimed as we walked up to them in front of one of the goblins at a desk, "Where'd you go?"
"We met the Riddles and Malfoy," Ginny answered, "But Sage stood up to them," The twins' eyes widened."Bloody marvelous was what it was," Ron added.
Before I could add anything Arthur called us over and we went down the elevator and into the vault. But this time, the goblin was carrying two keys, normally he only has one.
Soon enough, we were at the Weasley's vault and Arthur and Molly started grabbing handfuls and distributing them out to the children. I didn't get any. This was odd because I had always thought of myself as part of their family, so why weren't they giving me any money? How was I going to buy anything for Hogwarts?
It was like they heard my thoughts, "Don't worry Sage, we have a different vault for you." Arthur explained, just as we came to a stop in front of a much fancier looking vault, "Your mother's."
As the door opened all of our jaws dropped, my mum was rich! I grabbed many handfuls of the gold coins and shoved them into a bag I had brought with me. And we were off to shopping.
As we exited the bank, we all turned our separate ways and headed off in groups to look for what we needed. We were shopping for about an hour before we made it back to the book store, where Molly had instructed us all to meet when we were done, well except for wands, and books of course. But just as we approached the shop, something caught my eye. A jet black owl staring at me through the glass of a pet shop.
"Hold on," I said to Ron and Ginny walking through the door of the shop.
As I walked out they were right where I had left them, "Woahhhh!" Ginny squealed, "She's so pretty, it is a she right?"
"Yup! And her name's Bex.""Wow Sage!" Percy said, eyebrows raised, as a walked into the bookstore, "Sick owl."
Percy never gives compliments, this is big.
After buying all of our books, everyone goes back home, except for Me, Ron, and Molly. We head over to Ollivanders. As we walk in we see Ollivander helping Tom Riddle, and the other two standing in a corner admiring their new wands.
As we walk in the give us a nasty look. I return it and that shuts them up.
After Tom finds his wand, it's my turn.
Ollivander tries and tries for what feels like forever, but nothings working. At this point there are close to no wands on any shelves and four shelves are knocked over.
"Odd, odd, very odd indeed," Ollivander mumbles to himself, lost in thought. He then gets a spark in his eyes, I can almost see the lightbulb turning on above his head, "Maybe..."
He hands me a new box. I open it and it is the prettiest wand I have ever seen, black with gold details, I flick it and I feel wind blowing through my hair.
"Curious," Ollivander says walking towards me, "That wand is 11' of oak, but the heart. The heart is what makes it yours, mermaid scale. But this wand, there were only two others like it, you see, and one of those was your mothers, Jaqueline Vox. Your mother was an extremely powerful witch, one of the greatest. And the other I gave out today. Ah there the young man is, Mattheo Riddle."
Mattheo Riddle steps through the threshold of the shop and stops when he hears his name, "Forgot my book," He says, monotone. He walks over to the corner where him and Draco were standing earlier and picks up a black book and walks out.
Curious...

That night, I can't fall asleep. This is nothing out of the ordinary, Ron's probably going through the same thing. Except his is most likely out of excitement for Hogwarts.
Mine has a little to do with that, But it's mostly wondering about my mother. Today Ollivander said that she was one of the greatest witches. What does that mean? Molly won't tell me much about my mom though, so I can't ask.
She tells me about her, as a human, but never anything that has to do with her abilities when it came to magic.
Once I go to Hogwarts I'll probably get my answers. Most of the professors probably had or knew her. Maybe I'll just ask around for a while.
I'm going to get answers one way or another.
I wonder what house she was in, who her favorite professor was, who her favorite student was. Molly did tell me that she was the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor for a couple years, apparently Bill had her his first and second year.
I should probably get some sleep, tomorrow we have to be up early.
