Light the Way!

Prologue

Imagine. If you were standing in Kalos over 50 years ago. You'd be standing in a grassy field, full of flowers, beauty, and color. One legendary Pokemon, and one Pokemon of his dreams, 16, were married and had spent most of their time in the greens. They were Mewtwo and Gardevoir, and 5 years later, they had one child. It was a male Riolu. They were so happy about what they saw. They named him a truly wonderful name, "Phillip." They were all happy, and they even got to show him to someone else, 3 years older than him. It was a male Ralts, kind, and seemed like a true friend for Phillip. His name was John. 2 years later, they started playing together. They had a grand time, playing tag, hide and seek, etc. They even gazed into the sky, seeing all types of Pokemon, and Pokemon constellations. It was all fun and games until it was too late, so they had to be put to bed. They had no proper house, so they travelled almost everywhere since it was almost an endless plain of grass. But when they had to go to sleep, their mothers sang a special tune. It was a little small, but they sang it twice so it sounded a little longer.

All those dreams and wishes...

The song made them sleep soundly, very quickly, to add.

Every day went like this. They'd see their friends, they'd eat, then they'd sleep soundly. All of this was super fun for them, until one day, everything changed. The environmental greens changed to dust and construction. One day, they stood in front of a castle called the Battle Chateau. A group of people, named Team Flare, invaded said castle, where the family stayed. Their parent were kidnapped.

They were awakened with tears on everyone's faces, and with necklaces on their necks from their fathers. They promised they'd be back, but 8 years passed, and they were still alone with nothing but passerby's on Route 7. Phillip was 7, John was 10, and Kalos was a different place. However, after Team Flare was beaten by Calem, they were relieved just by a little. A huge parade was held when he even defeated the champion in the big city of Lumiose. Fireworks were seen, it was all amazing. Since 7 years old, he wanted to be in the big city. Now he was 15, 16 in 3 days, and John was 18. He was hoping an answer would arise from John.
