Light the Way!

Fighters of Fate

On the horizon, the grass was calm, swaying ever so slightly. The sun set behind the tall peaks of the mountaintop. The wind blew through the peaceful land of Kalos. The water, showed the reflections of two strong Pokemon. One was a blue jackal, a little short, but not too tall. His name was Phillip. He stood on his hind legs, as usual, sharpening his eyes toward his opponent. The other was human-like, almost mutated with a knight in shining armor. He had blade-like arms, helmet-like hair, and such a gallant pose, with a gallant name. His name was John.
They were near the waters of Route 7, where some people decided to watch the two fighting types actually show off their moves. Lucario put his fists together, starting to form a shining blue bone; Gallade calmed himself, and started forming shining green spheres around himself. The silence was dead, and the battle started.
Gallade shot the spheres toward Lucario, but the Aura Pokemon began to twirl the bone as fast as a helicopter, deflecting the Energy Balls toward all sides. Once they stopped hitting the bone, Lucario threw the shining blade-like object toward Gallade. However, Gallade, running toward his enemy, managed to dodge him by sliding underneath, and managed to kick Lucario's legs, causing him to fall on the lush grass.
Things got a little intense. However, Lucario managed to use Ice Punch toward the Blade Pokemon, knocking him back close to the crowd near the castle. Lucario was near the water, on the opposite side of Gallade. They looked at each other, neither accepting defeat. Gallade touched his "hair," and he began to glow. Lucario touched his spike in his chest, then he also began to glow. They transformed into something truly interesting, and powerful.
Lucario grew spikes on his feet, arms, hands, and chest; grew a bigger bush of fur on his tail; and his aura grew strong as he was now Mega Lucario. Gallade basically evolved from a soldier to a prince, getting a bigger spike of "hair," and actual sharp blade-like hands, and has a white and blue cape blowing in the wind as the prince is Mega Gallade. Their looks aren't all that changed either. They both grew stronger during their mega evolution, and were about to prove it.
Mega Lucario shot a powerful beam, Dragon Pulse. It nearly hit Mega Gallade, but he sliced the light with a Psycho Cut. They split in two and were shot at both of his sides. After this tremendous fail, John sprints to Lucario, practically jumping him, and prepared a Close Combat.
All Gallade did was take Lucario's stick-like body with one hand, and slapped him repeatedly in the face with the other. The slaps really did a number on Phillip, since has knocked back after the impact. He lost a little bit of his balance, but managed to stay up by just a little bit. A little dizzy with a bit of blurry vision, he tries to summon the blinding, lit bone by doing what he did before. Putting his fists together, then separating them. However, Gallade sprinted toward him, and was able to use Psycho Cut on him again. Crowds began to circulate them, a little worried, but some with excited or neutral faces. Lucario tumbled away from then Blade Pokemon, but managed to backflip and land on his feet. He charged an Ice Punch, and ran toward John. John stood where he was, and summoned a force field, or "Protect." Unaware of the sudden defense, Lucario hit the shield, and was blown back by the great force of Protect. Gallade ran toward him, and swung his arm toward Phillip's neck. But he suddenly stopped. He looked away, his transformation fading, and sighed.
"We have much work still."
