Bakugo
The hot bloodedexplosion boy had never shown an ounce of weakness his entire life.
He takes pride in being perfect of everything. Born gifted with an amazing quirk that can bring him places later in life. Raised by a complete loving family and privilege of not experiencing any kind of poverty or struggle growing up.
He's perfect. In every single way.
Well only in his head.
He's only human and even he has flaws just like everyone else.
And those flaws were tested ever since he enrolled at UA. Going through a set of challenges that made him question and doubt himself. But in true Bakugo Katsuki fashion, he overcame those obstacles adding some character growth he never anticipated.
But he's still as anger prone and prideful tenacious as ever and his goal has never changed. Just come to realize there's a different approach to reach his goals as being the best among the best.
Yet there's one more weakness he wouldn't dare tell anyone.
Well, it's not really much of a weakness. But to someone like Bakugo he claims it to be.
And that will be his endless fascination with romance.
He's a lot more accepting about it now compared to when he's a lot younger, but it is still something he won't share with anyone because of his reputation. As he hides his shoujo mangas in a secret stash somewhere in his dorm room. While some are cleverly placed behind rows of random miscellaneous books and textbooks he owns in his medium size bookshelf.
He would like to experience some romance for himself but because of his intimidating aura, he just scare most of the girls away and just pride himself blindly of not needing anyone.
Yup, the classic hot head Bakugo Katsuki. The one who craves nothing but a thrill of a fight. Who screams nothing but die to everyone.
Is also a closet hopeless romantic.
So it came as a huge surprise when a shy reclusive girl that's y/n l/n suddenly told him she likes him.
And it happened in a way he read so many countless cliched scenes in almost every shoujo book he owns. Which tore a fabric of his reality by a lot. 'Cause for once in his life he was at a loss what to do.
And once he did wake up from his internal breakdown he rejected you.
It couldn't be helped. He rarely knew the quiet female, even often forgetting your name.
But as lovesick in the head he is, your presence has become a virus that won't get out of his mind.
Finding himself staring more often when you're nearby. Can't help but think how beautiful your smile is and how gentle you spoke most of the time. Such a contrast of what his personality is.
And he likes that.
When you're nearby he can find himself somehow calming down and at ease. So he frequently finds an opportunity to stay by your side, only just for a little while. No longer caring if he gets weird ass looks by his friends and classmates.
But he cursed where he's seated in class. Not having the opportunity to stare at you from behind. But his thoughts entertain himself that you may have stared at his back many times before.
Until one afternoon he let his intrusive thoughts win over and couldn't help but look behind. The way you stood frigidly still as your e/c eyes lit up in surprise. You quickly look away, blushing and biting your bottom lip. Getting caught staring at him, the ash blonde smirks, as he turns around and focuses on the boring lecture once again.
Heh. Cute.
But you accepted the stupid mixer which got his blood boiling. He had to exit the cafeteria to calm himself down, because he couldn't bring himself to release his anger unto you.
You're too pure for that.
It ends up having a long conversation with Kirishima to realize how deeply he fell for you, and how much he immensely screwed up. Which led to a new problem entering his life.
The proud Bakugo, never one good with words to begin with and only knows a vast amount of vocabulary on how to threaten a person. Let alone be an expert of expressing his genuine emotions properly.
How could he take the rejection back and say the feelings are mutual all along?
