"Daddy!" your daughter yells for Omar from her bedroom down the hall. "What is it baby girl?" Omar asks, panicked and out of breath from running. "I'm not a baby anymore," your daughter objects, "and I'm scared." "You're my baby," Omar smiles and sits down on her small toddler bed and wraps his arms around her. "There's no need to be scared; I'm here to protect you. I'm not going anywhere," Omar smiles down at her and combs his hand through your daughter's curls that she obviously received from him. "You're not scared of the light and sound?" "I can't be scared if I'm to protect you from it," Omar chuckles and stands up to close the curtains to try and block out some of the thunderstorm scaring your young daughter. "You should go back to sleep princess," Omar tells her. "Are you going to leave me?" your daughter asks him as he sits down on her bed once again. "I could never leave you baby girl," he smiles as the two of them fall asleep; Omar with his back against the wall and your daughter hugging him, head resting and asleep against his chest.
