It's prom season and and lately you've been nervous no one will ask you to prom. Every girl- or at least every girl you know- wants to get asked to prom.

"Who do you want to go to prom with?" your best friend asks you as you leave the girls' locker room and walk towards the gym for your school's basketball game. You and your best friend are on your school's senior basketball team and are about to play a game against your rival school.

"I don't have time to think about this right now, I'm trying to concentrate on getting in the zone," you chuckle.

"Well, you may want to think about it soon," your best friend winks. What? I know I like Olly Molander but he'd never ask me to prom... You slightly shake your head to get back your concentration.

At halftime your school is winning 3-1. You sit on the side and drink from your water bottle as the cheerleaders take their positions in the centre of the gym. Music starts and you're immediately confused. "What's this?" you midge your best friend.
"The cheer routine," she shrugs.
"No, this is different. My sister plays the cheer music all the time and I've never heard this one."
You shrug as you hear your top three favourite songs play. At the end of the routine, the cheerleaders have three signs that read "Go" "(your school's 'animal')" "Go" but as the cheerleaders turn around, they are different. Instead you read "Prom" "With" "Me?" and you sigh at the lucky girl getting asked to prom this way. This was your dream promposal and you had no idea who was being asked. As you look at your teammates, your crush Olly Molander emerges from the centre of the cheerleaders. And this lucky chick is going with Olly... You can't help the jealousy running through your veins.
As Olly gets closer to the team, you see him looking at you. He approaches you and kneels like a cheesy movie would have. "Y/N, will you go to prom with me?" he asks you. "Of course!" you shout and leap into his arms and boldly kiss his cheek.
This is the best day ever, you think to yourself.
