Jeon Yn walked out of her school, her bodyguard, Mr. Park, just a few steps behind her. It was a typical day, and she was looking forward to going home after a long day of classes. As she stepped onto the sidewalk, she couldn't help but notice a group of boys eyeing her from a distance.
Mr. Park, a tall and imposing figure, sensed the boys' intentions and positioned himself between Jeon Yn and the group. He knew all too well that they were merely attracted to her beauty, and he was determined to protect her from any unwanted attention.
Yn, on the other hand, had grown accustomed to such encounters. Being mute, she often found solace in her own thoughts and observations. She sighed softly, knowing that her appearance was the only thing that seemed to captivate others. Deep down, she longed for someone who would see beyond her external beauty and appreciate her for who she truly was.
As they continued walking, Yn's mind wandered to her daily routine. School had always been a challenge for her, as she struggled to communicate with her classmates. Despite her inability to speak, she excelled academically, often finding solace in books and art. Her creativity knew no bounds, and she poured her emotions onto canvas, creating masterpieces that spoke louder than words ever could.
Throughout the ride, her mind dwelled on the disheartening truth. Despite the flattering words that claimed her disability was inconsequential, she knew better. It mattered, oh! how it mattered, that she was mute. The weight of her silence hung heavy, a constant reminder of the barriers she faced in a world that often overlooked the depth of her being.
Soon, they arrived at her home, and Mr. Park, her dedicated bodyguard, made sure she safely entered the house before bidding her farewell for the day.
As Yn stepped through the threshold, her eyes widened with joy. There, on the couch, sat her beloved brother and father, their presence bringing warmth to her heart. Overwhelmed with happiness, she couldn't contain herself and rushed towards them, her footsteps filled with excitement. With open arms, she embraced her dear brother, Jeon Jungkook, in a tight and loving hug.
________Jungkook's eyes softened as he saw his sister approaching. Despite his cold and distant demeanor, Yn was the only person who could melt the ice around his heart. As she wrapped her arms around him, he couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and comfort .
Though unable to express her joy through words, her actions spoke volumes. In that heartfelt embrace, a language of love and connection transcended the need for spoken communication. It was a moment of pure bliss, a reminder that despite her mute condition, their bond remained unbreakable.
Jungkook gently returned Yn's embrace, his strong arms enveloping her fragile frame. He could feel her silent tears against his chest, and he knew that she had missed him just as much as he had missed her. They stood there, locked in a tight embrace, as if time had stood still.
Jungkook reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair behind Yn's ear, his touch filled with tenderness. He had always been protective of her, even more after their mothers' passing. He had vowed to be her voice, her strength, and her pillar of support.
Just then, someone spoke, and both of them looked over to see their father standing there. "Looks like no one missed me. I should go back," he said, with a dramatic voice, pretending to be sad. Yn walked towards him and gave him a soft hug. "How are you, princess? I missed you, my little champ," he said, smiling at her. Yn gave him a heartwarming smile in return and turned to look at Jungkook, and even though she couldn't speak, he understood what she was saying just by looking into her eyes. So he answered, "I know we were supposed to come back in two days, but dad's friend invited him to a party, so we finished our work early and came back sooner." Yn made an O face and nodded, and Jungkook pinched her cheeks because she was so cute. "Aigoo! My cutie," he said with a smile. Their dad smiled at them, too.
Then Jungkook said, "I brought some gifts for you. They're in your room. Go check them out. And you're also going to the party, so get ready by eight tonight, okay?" Yn's face dropped when she found out she had to go to the party, and she shook her head vigorously to say no. But Jungkook said firmly, "No, Yn! You'll go, and that's final." Yn understood that she had to go based on how Jungkook said it. She nodded and went to her room.
