Chapter 7

" Taetae!"

The little boy dashed toward Taehyung, his tiny feet pattering against the ground with eager determination. As soon as he reached Taehyung, he instinctively bent down and scooped him up, lifting him high into the air with a strength and ease that belied his gentle nature. The child’s laughter rang out, a sweet melody of pure joy that filled the air around them. His small hands clapped together in delight as he excitedly babbled something about how he missed Taehyung . In a spontaneous burst of affection, the boy leaned forward and planted a kiss on Taehyung’s cheek.

Taehyung’s reaction was immediate and tender. His lips curved into a smile that lit up his entire face, his eyes crinkling at the corners in that familiar, heartwarming way. He returned the child’s kiss with one of his own, pressing his lips gently against the boy’s chubby cheeks, making the little one giggle even more.

Yn stood a short distance away, watching the scene unfold with a mixture of surprise and awe. She had never seen Taehyung like this before—not in the few weeks they had been married, anyway. Last night had been the first time she had glimpsed another side of him, but even then, it hadn’t fully sunk in. Now, though, she couldn’t help but be mesmerized by the sight of him so openly affectionate, so different from the reserved and sometimes stern man she had come to know.

What struck her most was his smile. It was the most beautiful smile she had ever seen, and it wasn’t just the way his lips curved or how his teeth showed perfectly when he grinned. No, it was the way that smile transformed him entirely, softening his features and revealing a warmth that took her breath away. His boxy smile was so endearing, so full of genuine happiness, that Yn felt as though she could lose herself in it forever. It made him look like a completely different person—a man with a gentle, tender nature that she hadn’t yet had the chance to fully discover.

Lost in her thoughts, Yn almost didn’t notice when another figure approached them from the direction of the car. Her eyes drifted away from Taehyung to the newcomer—a young man who seemed to be about the same age as her husband. He was slightly shorter than Taehyung, but no less striking. With soft, delicate features that gave him an almost ethereal quality, he radiated a quiet charm. Even from a distance, Yn could sense that he was the type of person who was naturally kind and gentle.

As he came closer, the young man smiled at Yn, a smile that was warm and inviting, though less intense than Taehyung’s. There was something about him that immediately put her at ease, as if his very presence was a reassurance that everything would be okay.

“Hey, Yn,” he greeted her in a soft, melodious voice. “I’m Jimin, Taehyung’s friend.”

He extended his hand toward her, and Yn accepted it, feeling the warmth of his palm as they shook hands. There was a certain grace in the way he carried himself, a calm confidence that spoke volumes without needing to say much at all.

Taehyung’s voice came from behind, breaking the quiet. “You’re early .” he remarked, his tone light and welcoming.

Jimin turned at the sound, smiling as he approached Taehyung,"This little bundle of joy was so excited to meet you," Jimin said with a chuckle, "that he literally dragged me out of the house." The two shared a brief, familiar side-hug, though Taehyung had to manage it carefully, as his arms were already full with a tiny, squirming bundle of energy.

Jimin’s eyes softened as they landed on the child. “Min_ahh, greet Noona,” he said gently, nodding toward Yn.

The small adorable boy with wide eyes and chubby cheeks, peeked shyly from his spot in Taehyung’s embrace. His little hands gripped Taehyung’s shirt, seeking comfort in its familiarity. Sensing the boy's hesitation, Taehyung slowly set him down on the floor, giving him a reassuring pat on the back.
