As Yn stood before the mirror, gently running the comb through her hair, her mind drifted back over the past week spent in the company of Taehyung. Since that night, a thick silence had settled between them, like an invisible barrier dividing their worlds. Not a word had passed between them, leaving Yn feeling adrift in uncertainty as she prepared to return to school.

During the days that followed, Taehyung had buried himself in work, secluded in his home office. To their parents, it may have appeared as though they were enjoying quality time together, but in truth, they were mere strangers inhabiting the same space, their connection fading with each passing day.

Lost in her thoughts, Yn was jolted back to the present by the sound of Taehyung emerging from the washroom, ready to return to his office routine. His sudden presence filled the room, stirring a mixture of apprehension and curiosity within her.

"Wait, little one," Taehyung's voice broke through the silence, causing Yn's heart to skip a beat. Uncertain of what to expect, she turned to face him as he approached. Standing inches away, his proximity seemed to amplify her unease, leaving her feeling vulnerable under his gaze.

Instinctively, Yn flinched as Taehyung raised his hand, only to realize he was holding out a tie. Embarrassment flooded her cheeks as she realized her mistake, her relief palpable.

"Isn't it your duty as my wife to tie my tie?" Taehyung's words were both perplexing and contradictory, echoing the confusion swirling within Yn's mind. Despite his earlier indifference, the request seemed to blur the lines of their strained relationship, leaving Yn grappling with conflicting emotions.

Before she could fully comprehend his intentions, Yn found herself nodding in acquiescence, . With her fragile and slightly trembling hands, she accepted the tie, her gaze momentarily drawn to Taehyung's towering stature.

Standing on tiptoes, Yn struggled to reach his collar, her hands trembling as she hastily tied the knot. The intimacy of the moment weighed heavily upon her, leaving her feeling small and insignificant in comparison to Taehyung's imposing presence.

With the tie finally secured, Yn quickly gathered her bag and fled the room, unable to withstand the intensity of Taehyung's stare any longer.Just as she was about to make her exit, Mr. Park, her designated bodyguard, arrived at the doorstep. It had been decided prior to their arranged marriage that Yn would have a constant companion, someone to ensure her safety and well-being. Though grateful for the protection, she couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness at the necessity of such measures.

On her way to school, her mind buzzed with thoughts of the encounter, wondering what it might mean for their uncertain future together.

After coming back from college, Yn took a small nap. The exhaustion of the day melted away as she rested, and after waking up, she felt refreshed. Remembering her routine, she decided to call her father. Since the past week, her father had made it a point to call her every day to check in and make sure everything was okay. Their daily conversations had become a comforting ritual for Yn.

Her father answered the call almost immediately, his familiar face appearing on the screen. They exchanged the usual pleasantries, talking about Yn's day at college and other small updates. As they chatted, her father’s voice carried a certain excitement that Yn couldn’t help but notice.

“Guess what, Yn,” her father said with a wide smile. “The Kims and Jeons have struck a new business deal. It’s a very huge project that will benefit both families immensely.”

As her father shared the news with so much happiness, Yn enforced a smile and congratulated him using her sign language. Despite her outward cheer, deep down, she was feeling anxious. Yn, being a naive girl, tended to believe everything Taehyung said.......... without thinking much if it was true or .....not.
