Lees Death

Lee smiles, his bright smile replaced with a slim grim one. Even though he has done everything to make himself healthy this still has to happen. Today he has found out he is possessed with the terrible illness called cancer. His days to live are small.

A sound of russeling is heard behind the taijutsu user. Gaara has finally come.

"Gaara, you made it." Gaara nods his head slightly wondering why Lee asked him to come. "You know Hinata, I want you to do me a favor..." Lee hesitates, but smiles sadly out at the sea.

"Yes...what do you need Lee-kun?" Gaara asked bewildered. Lee knew the way Gaara looked at Hinata. He also knew he would never be able to compare. Hinata makes Gaara smile in ways Lee could never. The sparkle in Gaaras eyes increase when shes around.

"I want you to confess your feelings to her...Tell her you love her." Lee sighs in happiness before looking Gaara in the eys. Gaara blushes a deep shade of red.

"H-how did you know?" Lee smirks and smiles brightly, knowing he couldn't cry yet.

"It's easy to tell. So do it for me. I'm leaving tomorrow to go on a mission. I'll be back as soon as possible." Lee hated lying to Gaara but knew it was for the best.

"Okay...I will...if it makes you happy." Gaara said as if hesitant. Why? Lee wondered but didnt push him. Hinata came too, just on time Lee thought.

"Goodbye friends, I've got things to do." Lee smiled again this time letting at tear slip through. Though he knew they weren't watching.

Lee walked to the hokages hospital finishing what he started.

"Hokage-sama, unless one of my friends ask, I would love it if you didn't tell anyone of my death. Gai-sensei or any sensei at that doesnt count." Lee says, letting his tears fall.

"Lee...are you sure about this. You dont have to do this. Its your last day you should spend it with everyone." Tsunade may seem mean but she didnt want this. Lee was too good of a ninja for this to happen.

"Here dont forget--" lee didnt finish his sentence as he fell to the ground. Luckily Tusnade was able to grab what Lee handed to her.

"Lee stay with me, please!"

Death was a peaceful thing, Lee wasn't scared. He wasn't afraid of what was happening to him. He did everything he wanted. Lee didn't confess his love, he didn't become the best ninja.

No, sadly he didn't do any of that. Instead he helped his one time and his long time crush confess to his love.

Death is a peaceful thing. Now Lee doesn't have to fight anymore.

Death has given him something beautiful. It has given him freedom. Freedom from pain and sadness.

Death has taken him from this place and has brought him to a better one.
