Gaara looks out at the ocean, playing with his new ring that rested on his finger. He broke it off with Hinata, deciding to devote himself to Lee and Lee only.

Memories flood through Gaaras mind like a movie.

Two years ago

"Gaara, have you ever loved someone so much you cant stop thinking about them?" Lee asked hopefully

"Of course I have, and Im.staring right at him." Gaara says with a smirk while Lee blushes. Slowly they both lean in until their lips touch. A small kiss, but one of love.

Two weeks after that kiss

"Forget about what happened. It was a mistake, I can't love you." Gaara didnt mean anything that he said but he didnt want to accept the fact that he was gay.

"Okay, its okay I understand." Lee says with tears falling down his face. Something in Gaara died that day.

One year later.

"Gaara, I have something to say. Its about--" Lee tried to speak

"Lee not know, Hinata is fighting!" Gaara shooed at him still keeping his eyes on Hinatas gorgeous figure.

"Gaara this is important." Lee said sadness filling his voice. "Gaara-koi...I love you." Lee pecked Gaaras lips knowing it would be the last time.

"What the fuck Lee. First dont call me -koi second dont kiss me third Im not gay!" Lee nods a smile on his face as he turns to leave "okay Gaara, bye for now."

The day Lee died.

"Gaara, lets hang out today I have something important to tell you..." Gaara ground as he looked at his watch.

"For the last time I dont love you Lee. And I cant Im waiting for Hinata." Gaara glared at his supposed best friend.

"Oh...okay, but just remember this is our special place okay. This is the place were we first kissed. Please keep it in your heart, and cherish it...now about you and Hinata." Lee said changing the subject.

Gaara grimanced as he realized he ignored his friend. He is such a dumass Gaara thought as he cried into his hand.

Lees gone forever and he didnt do shit to help. He didnt even get to say I love you to him. Gaara looked at the water and started walking forward. He could just kill himself.

"Gaara!" A voice sounding just like Lees yelled.

"Lee!" Gaara spun around finding his black haired angel, though he was transparent he was still Lee. Gaara ran forward and tried to hug Lee but instead ran right through him.

"Its true, your dead right, SO WHY ARE YOU STOPPING ME FROM JOINING YOU!!" Gaara yelled at the ghost.

"No this is not right my youthful love. Live on for me, and dont waste your life like I did. Just know that no matter what I love you. Dont stop smiling for me Gaara-koi."

Lee shedded his last tear before disappearing leaving Gaara sad angry and confused.

"Please...dont leave me Lee-koi...I promise I will get better so stay by my side until the moment I die..." Something falls onto thw water and Gaara looks up in hope, but only finds a white folded piece of paper.

"Apparently their was a note...I just found it...Im sorry Gaara..." he heard Tsunade say, but didnt care as he almost riped open the note.

"You love me deep down right? Its wishful thinking I know but...your all I have. My cancer has shorten my life by what seems a long time. But im okay with that as long as you my live stay happy.

Make sure that you smile all the time. And please don't forget no matter where you are, who your with, or even how old you get.
