Chapter 1

It was a peaceful and pleasant evening for everyone in Sumeru....
Well almost everyone.

Alhaitham and Kaveh....ahh~ Such a great couple they turned out to be despite thier past drama. Well...this,my friends...changed everything....

The two,for the first time since they got married 3 years ago, had their first argument as a couple. And it did NOT end well.

Kavehs POV:
i'm currently arguing with Alhaitham, the man I'm married to,about the fact...that he's been cheating on me with NILOU... I can't believe he lied to me...saying he'd love me and only me...yet here I find out that he's been seeing someone else behind my back,and worst of all... SHE KNEW HE WAS WITH ME!...

Kaveh:I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD DO SUCH A THING! HOW COULD YOU!?

Ass-haitham(lol): I've grown feelings for her,she actually understands me.

Kaveh:Oh!  She actually understands you!? OK! SO IF YOU'RE INLOVE WITH HER NOW,WHAT ABOUT ME HUH!? AM I NOW JUST--- SOMEONE YOU'RE MARRIED TO?! YOU DO EVEN LOVE ME ANYMORE!? ANSWER ME ALHAITHAM!

I was yelling alot trying to find out what it is she has that I don't to make Alhaitham love her more than me. Alhaitham started gritting his teeth out of anger, walked towards me,and gave me something I never expected to receive since he's never given it to me.... A slap across my face....

My left cheek turned red with his hand printed on it. My body started shaking from the sudden shock. I never expected him to slap me...no matter how many times we fought.Tears started forming in my eyes. That's when it started...the words that ended it all...

Ass-haitham: That's the problem. You're too emotional for the smallest things-

1 crack in my heart

Ass-haitham: - you complain about everything everyday-

2 cracks in my heart

Ass-haitham: - you're drunk every fucking time-

3 cracks in my heart

Ass-haitham: -and you can't even pay off your debts-

4 cracks in my heart

Ass-haitham: - which is wrather PATHETIC,something Nilou isn't.

Multiple cracks have formed in my heart....it's now officially SHATTERED.

Kaveh:I...I see...then you can give her this. I'm sure she'll love it.

I said as my voice started breaking.I take off the ring and and give It back to Alhaitham. He didn't have any shocked or upset expression,just blank...not caring that this is now the end of our relationship.

Kaveh: I'm gonna start packing my things,then I'll leave.

Ass-haitham: Hmph. My life will be better without you in it.

I go upstairs, shut the door and immediately but silently break down into tears. I can't believe it...this is really it...I can't deal with this shit any longer...just when I thought things would work out better between us...this happens... He wants me gone? So be it...

I finished packing my things and headed out the door(with Mehrak ofc). It turns out while I was packing Nilou showed up. I saw the ring on her finger as I walked out. Alhaitham didn't even give me one last look before I left.Heh. I guess he lied about everything. Everything we've been through...meant nothing to him...I wonder if he even loved me at all....

I went to the docks and took the boat that was headed to Mondstat, the last time I was there I made friends with Albedo,Lisa,Klee and Amber. I stayed in the extra room that Lisa had in her place,she said I was welcome anytime so hopefully I'll be able to stay there with her. I take one last look at Sumeru before the boat left,knowing that starting from now,I'll be leading on a new life,in a new home.
