Chapter 2

It's been a few hours since Kaveh left Sumeru for Mondstat,he's wondering how the others would react to him leaving. What would Tighnari think? What would Cyno think? What if they go ask Alhaitham? What will HE say to them?

He kept thinking of what would happen with his sudden disappearance, until he finally reached Mondstat. He got off the boat and headed into Mondstat,being welcomed by the knights of favonius.

He smiled and waved st them,and as he entered,he saw two familiar faces. It was the Traveler and Emergency food,Aether and Piamon! They were talking with Amber.

Kaveh:"Traveler! Piamon! What a surprise to see two here!"

Kaveh shouted,catching the three's attention.

Amber:"KAVEH! what a nice surprise! I wasn't expecting you here!,it's nice to know you kept your promise"

Amber said hugging him.

The last time Kaveh came to Mondstat was for a project,he befriended Amber,Albedo,Klee and Lisa,he promised he'd come back to visit.

Piamon:"WHAT!? PIAMON DIDN'T KNOW YOU CAME TO MONDSTAT BEFORE!"

Kaveh:"I came here 2 years ago for a project,and made a few friends,Amber being the first,Ive been visiting from time to time"

Aether:"Really? Same. When Piamon and I first came here,Amber was the first person we met"

Amber:"SO,what brings you to Mondstat this time Kaveh? Another project? Vacation?"

Kaveh:".......I left Sumeru..to come live here,I wanna get away from...my problems...PERMANENTLY."

They were shocked to hear this news,worried that something must've happened back in Sumeru.

Aether:"Well,if you want,you can talk to us about it. We won't force you, ofc."

Paimon:"Yeah! You can open up to us anytime you feel like it!"

Amber: "As long as you're comfortable with it, as a proud knight of favonius,it is not just my job to protect Mondstat, but to make sure everyone feels safe here,so whatever happened back in Sumeru,you don't need to worry about it anymore,you're perfectly safe here,that's a promise!"

Kaveh was happy to hear these words,he felt joy in his heart.

Kaveh: "Thank you for your kind words,I'll definitely keep it in mind."

???:"My~my~ What a pleasant surprise, why didn't you say you were coming to visit sweetie?~"

They all turned around to see the mommy- I MEAN- gorgeous mage,Lisa. She was walking with Kaeya.

Kaeya:"And who ,might you be? I've never seen you around here before"

Lisa:"What? You haven't met Kaveh? He came here before, I'm quite curious as to why you haven't met each other."

Kaveh:"Well,nice to meet you,my name is Kaveh,I'm from Sumeru, but I've decided to move to Mondstat from now."

Kaeya:" Well,I'm Kaeya,the Cavalry Captain of the knights of favonius,pleasure to finally meet you. I will admit,I have heard stories of a talented architect from Sumeru, that's you isn't it?"

Kaveh:"Indeed I am, and this is my trusty friend, Mehrak."

Mehrak:"BEEP-BOP-BEEP! (*^-^)／＼(*^-^*)／＼(^-^*)"

Kaeya:"Well aren't you just adorable!"

Mehrak:"BEEP-BOP-BOP-BEEP!!! (^з^)-☆"

Kaveh:"Hehe~ Seems like Mehrak like you."
