3rd POV:
Police Officer: OVER HERE!
The search was already going on for a while but no one had found anything. The dogs they had running around the forest were all bolting in 3 different directions which lead the police to different scenes. One after another was a scene that would terrify one down to their bones. Nothing was really normal about these crime scenes at all.
The first scene was a young child in Izuku's age that had seemingly slipped or was pushed. The outcome was not pretty as the head of that child was broken and split as they had hit their head on a sharp rock. The blood on the floor was just around that stone alone. No stabbing marks but there was a bullet wound the kid also had. Just one glance was enough to say that it was not the death cause at all. The wound the kid got from the bullet was just a hole through their hand.
Still that was not the scene the polise was currently at all.
The second scene was just blood and some dragging lines which lead them to the third scene.
Sansa: What in the.... how is that possible? .... Tsuki, did you ever see something like that?
Tsukauchi: No...
Two young adults were hanging right inbetween two quite large trees. They were attached to some kind of vine and it was pulling them from arm to arm. That was not the part that made everyone look at the bodies. It was the sheer fact that these vines were not the only thing around. The boys were tightly wrapped up in throns and their eyes were scortched out. Ravens had already settled at their shoulders and started to pick at their ears ignroing the police officers. A flock of these birds were circeling around the scene as well. It seems as if both of them were not supposed to see anything. That was at least the message that the police got from it.
Sansa: How are we supposed to get them down?
Tsukauchi: .... document everything. Someone is using their quirk in public and if there are two of them here... then we can assume that there might be following more.
Sansa: I know but... poor boys. What did they even do?
Police Officer: We found something!
Sansa and Tsukauchi were both standing a bit away from everything watching their officers try their best to figure out how this happened. That was at least until one of the officers came running towards them with a bag and a gun inside of it.
Tsukauchi: *sigh* Might have a bit of a vigilante out here....
Sansa: You think that was revenge or justice?
Tsukauchi: I don't know that but we will find out.
Sansa: Hey, ahm... what will you tell your kid?
Tsukauchi: I don't want him to know about this.
Sansa: Then how about we caught the villains?
Tsukauchi: Then I would lie to him and you know how much I hate that.
Sansa: No, we did catch them but you will just not tell the whole truth. Look, I know how hard you have it with Izuku and he is a curious one.... he also seemed quite shaken. Don't you think it would be best if you tell him at least something?
Tsukauchi: You're right.... but no words about this to him or anyone. These are two different cases. We don't know yet if they shot the other kid.
Sansa: Alright.
The officers both nodded to each other before started to get to work and inspect the crime scene. There were no footsteps left behind and the trees didn't seem to be damaged nor climable. It was Sansa who tried to climb with his cat quirk up but failed quite badly as the trees didn't had a single place one could hold onto quite well. If the person they were searching for had a nature type of quirk then climbing these trees would be impossible not to mention having these vines be that precisely attached. That only made them believe that they may have been two people who were doing all this.
After all... how was one person supposed to deal with two people that seemed to be armed and were prepared to kill?
No, that didn't look like just a vengence or a justice act.
It seemed more than this.
Whoever made this, was putting these two people on display. They were not trying to hide them nor what they did to them. In fact, this almost looked like an execution, a warning to others. A warning for what though? That was something the police had to figure out yet.
