Lights out

"Guys.. I can't see." Huening spoke.

"No duh, the lights went out." Yeonjun states.

"The ground is moving.." Taehyun mumbled.

"I knew that cat was no good!" Beomgyu huffs.

"That was just cause it kept hissing at you." Soobin explained.

"Guys, we're moving." Taehyun said a little louder.

"Oh right, yeah it is! The floor was shaking a little. I figured that out a while ago." Beomgyu states.

"And you didn't tell us right away?" Soobin raised a brow.

"Probably because we can't see anything! It's daaark!" Huening exclaims.

"Where is the lightswitch??" Yeonjun asks, feeling the walls for it.

"Anyone got a flashlight?" Beomgyu asks.

"I've got my phone on me- oh wait, it died.." Huening frowns.

"Yeah, uhm, I got my phone too." Taehyun turned his phone flashlight on.

"Woah- all the animals disappeared." Soobin said.

"They've been gone since the lights turned off." Beomgyu states.

"How did they disappear so fast??" Yeonjun asks.

"Bro, how would we know?? We aren't geniuses." Hueningkai said.

"Actually, I already figured it out." Taehyun said.

"Same here." Beomgyu nods, putting an arm over Taehyun.

"Wha- how??" Soobin asks.

"They were holograms." The two say at the same time.

"We've been tricked by holograms and a cat?! Wait, IF THEY WERE HOLOGRAMS, HOW DID THEY ATTACK US?!" Yeonjun gasps.

"Ughhh, quiet down you loud obnoxious idiots!" The familiar voice of the sneaky kitten exclaimed from above.

The five looked up to see the cat just lounging on a fake tree branch attached to the wall.

"You tricked us." Soobin glared at the cat.

"Yeah? So what? I gotta obey my master. Meow." The cat purrs and lazily flips to its side.

"I thought you were actually helping us save your experimented friends?" Hueningkai frowns.

"Tsk, friends? They all died ages ago." The cat clicked its tongue in annoyance. "My only friend is the scientist."

"Weren't we your friends?" Yeonjun questions. "Everything we've been through today? Wasn't it fun, at all?"

"Who becomes friends with someone they just met?? Friendship takes time and years of mutual care and respect, you don't just become best friends like that!" The cat exclaimed.

"True." Taehyun shrugs. Beomgyu slaps his shoulder. "I mean- not true! We became friends right away!" He said.

"Not." Hueningkai said under his breath.

Yeonjun heard that. "Don't worry, Kai." He whispered, ruffling his hair. "He adores you now."

Soobin nods in agreement.

"I know, I get it." Hueningkai chuckles, whispering those words then hugging Taehyun's waist.

Taehyun hugged back, patting his back.

"What are ya'll doing, getting so close for?" The cat sat up straight. "I'm not here for you to get all awfully affectionate."

"Yeaah.. so why are you here then?" Soobin asked.

"Uh- so you guys don't escape."

"But I thought you didn't wanna watch us getting all awfully affectionate?" Yeonjun questions with a sarcastic pout, clinging onto the two youngest and joining in on their hug.

"Well- obviously not, so stop hugging!"

"Nahh, you should just leave. We aren't stopping anytime soon!" Beomgyu giggles, joining the group hug. Soobin also joins.

The cat glared at the group. "I hate you people."

"Then get a life and quit listening to that old man like he owns a slave." Hueningkai said.

"What?"

"You. You're the slave."

"I-"

"Daaamn, you just made Hyuka call you a slave, and tell you to get a life! Brutal." Yeonjun gasped. Though, he's very proud at the moment.

"What the heck!?"

"Sorry, kitty, but with us around, you won't get any peace." Taehyun states.

"We aren't the ones being held captive, you are." Beomgyu grins.

"Oh, and we already won." Soobin adds.

The place was then dark once again as Taehyun turned his phone flashlight off.
