3rd person pov
the morning shine lays upons jake's face , devon softly waiting for him to wake up .
he uses his fingers to play with jake's curls watching it slightly bounce, devon didn't know what to do.
they'd been friends for so many years , they can't ever let go of each other, after every argument they find their way back to each other , no matter what.
it wasn't a choice to always be with each other , something always connected them like an invisible string. (ts reference)
but i had to this time , i couldn't keep coming back to him .
devon pov
i don't wanna hurt him , im not emotionally available for that.
3rd person
(flashback)
1 year ago , devon was in a relationship with one of the kindest souls ever. except she was a he and nobody knew about it.
his name was junior (i do not ship them but i have no one else) , junior was always there for devon but unfortunately his mom died which caused a lot of damage for the 2 of them.
junior found himself searching for something to look forward too and it wasn't devon .. it was lexy.
and because no one knew about them , devon and junior swore to take it the grave.
how did he know junior ? well jake.
and that's why he wasn't ready to put himself into that situation especially if it was public.
back to reality
"mmm, devonn" - jake yawns .
"hey" devon smiles .
jake smiles up at him.
he was stuck, he didn't know what to do.
"can we talk about yesterday?"
