William wakes up in a tube with a water-like substance, initially scared that he might drown. However, to his surprise, the substance doesn't drown him. The tubes open, and he falls onto the ground, looking around. "What the-," he says as he sees a girl fall from another tube. He wants to approach her, but there is an invisible wand blocking his way to her. "Huh? What is this-? Why am I here?!" He shouts out loud and punches the invisible wall, but it doesn't hurt him. Before he can do anything else, a flying, fairy-like robot comes over to him and speaks, "You are one of the chosen to participate in this Tournament. More information will be handed to you later." "Wait! Then what is this girl doing here?" William asks. The fairy-like robot replies, "She, and many more people, got chosen as well." William nods, "Alright." "You have 2 weeks to prepare - weapons, outfits, and everything - more information will be given to you, you are gonna get free food for those two weeks, but then you need to do daily challenges to earn tokens to buy food," the fairy-like robot states. William nods again before saying, "Well, I guess I'll explore this place now," William says as the fairy-like robot nods and disappears. As he explores, he finds a bed, probably for him, and a box of food containing bread, meat, eggs, and more. There's also a fountain for water and a door that's currently locked. Before he tries to unlock the door, he gets teleported into a room where many other people have been teleported one by one. Another fairy-like robot appears and starts to speak. "Hello, everybody! You are all chosen to participate in this new life. Billionaires picked you all by observing what you all do and have been doing. A billionaire can get two people to be in this, so they can make bets on their fighters. They can spend money on you all to make you all stronger in the hope of doubling their money for a profit. Two billionaires can also join alliances, combining their fighters and having a chance to quadruple their money. "Now, before I stop talking and need to address your partners or rivals - whatever you all like - you might be angry that you all need to join this battle royale just for billionaires' bets. Well, that's true, but if you manage to win six tournaments and complete their daily tasks, they'll return to their normal life and be rewarded with around 400,000 in gold. Or, if you are very impressive, you may be given a promotion, allowing you to get more money and be on the higher-ups' good side, with their help to train. Just don't argue with the billionaire that chose you," the robot concludes. "I will send you all back to your places and with the people you are partnered with. You can be friends with them or rivals, maybe even something else. Anyways, now I will send you all away," said the robot-like fairy before disappearing.
