AFTER THE MOTORBIKE ride, Sunghoon and I arrive at the restaurant and sit at the table with all our friends. He sits between Riki and me. <You'll tell him, right?> Riki asks him. <Yes.> Sunghoon looks determined.
The room is lively and full of people laughing and chatting. Despite the confusion around, our eyes meet from time to time.
Every time our eyes meet, there is a palpable attraction in the air, a moment of connection, a flash of mutual interest that shone between us. We just can't stop looking at each other, I bet that from the outside we really seem to be in a world of our own, far from everything and everyone.
When we all split up to go home at the end of the evening, the two of us are left alone. When we get to the bike, Sunghoon puts the helmet on me, and as he does this he notices once again, as if that wasn't enough, how beautiful I am to him.

I nod. Inside I feel my heart beating a thousand: is this really about to happen?
When we get to my house, we sit on the bed. <I wanted to talk to you because... I want to tell you how I feel. Honestly, the first time I saw you you didn't convince me very much, I thought you were like all the other people who were with us, who only used us for our popularity.
Instead you...> he smirks while playing with his thumbs <you are special, you are the purest person I know. We have a similar background and I feel like I can fully understand you. I promised you that I will help you overcome your difficulties, your fears, your anxieties, and I really intend to do it.
So what I want to tell you is that... I like you. A lot. Very much.> Sunghoon looks into my eyes, which shine. They shine in the moonlight.
I throw my arms around his neck. Sunghoon can't help but be happy, so he wraps his body around me in a warm embrace.

I look at him with a smile, which slowly fades because I realize that I am just a few centimeters from his face, from his mouth. I get closer and closer and put my hand on his cheek.

He holds me close, putting his hands on my hips and stroking my hair. I can't hold back my emotions anymore. I kiss him, and he kisses me back in less than a second. As soon as our lips collided our hearts began to beat faster than ever, at the same time, and our stomachs were invaded by a thousand butterflies. I can't believe that those lips I've always looked at and imagined kissing... I'm really kissing them.
Sunghoon holds me tighter and tighter and kisses me softly, passionately, as if he wants to tell me that I no longer have to be afraid because from this moment on he will always be there to protect and comfort me.
After a few minutes their lips parted and I hugged him again. <You are truly the best person that could have happened in my life.> He smiles at me and caresses my head, giving me a kiss on my forehead.
Then suddenly Sunghoon remembers something. <Ah, true. Sohee, I brought you something.> Look for something in your trouser pockets. I look at him curiously. In an instant he takes out a piece of paper.
<You know, I have a passion. I love writing, both stories and poems. I've never told anyone because I'm a bit ashamed, they are not that great.. even the guys don't know. But I wrote you a poem and I really wanted you to read it tonight. Here.>
So I start reading that sheet of paper:
