I woke up around ten and at 11 I saw that I got a notification from Amelia

AMELIA: Hey what time will you be coming over

ME: can I be there around 7pm? I have a game today

AMELIA: 7 works perfectly fine
Opened

I went to shower and get ready for my game, my parents weren't home, they were away from some business so I had the house to myself for the next two months or so, thats how its always id but im fine with it now since I do like my alone time, after my shower I went downstairs to go make myself breakfast, I made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, my favorite, I got onto my bike and started riding to my basketball game when I heard my phone go off I ignored it because I was too focused on the road, I went to the gas station first to fill up my bike because it was running low and buy some waters, when I got to the school I met up with my other teammates gave them the water bottles and went to change, while I was changing I checked my phone, someone liked one of my photos from practice that happened a while ago, it was of me making the shot while shirtless, I checked out the instagram users profile and read "Amelia𓆩❤︎𓆪" was that really her? why would she like my post? how did she even find me, my lips turned into a smirk while I thought of her, why would I be even thinking of her she is just my tutor plus I can not be seen around her or my reputation will be ruined, I just put my phone away into my backpack then walked out into the court

"Yo pass me the ball i'm open" said my friend Erik, Erik is a chill guy, we haven't been friends for too long but we do talk from time to time and we hangout with a couple of the other guys I looked at the score board, 17-13, we were winning but they were catching up, " I'M OPEN" I yelled, Steven passed me the ball, I ran for the hoop, jumped, and it went in, after what felt like forever we won with a score of 47-34

I got to Amelias house around 7:05 walked up to her door and rang the bell, she opened it, I noticed How cute she looked but before I could think of anything else she said "you're late" yeah by 5 minutes, this girl is really crazy, I just rolled my eyes and asked "can I come in?" she looked at me and said "yeah just follow me to my room" I followed her up the stairs to her room, kept my gaze on the ground because of the shorts she was wearing, I didn't want to be disrespectful "You can take a seat wherever, but what do you need help on?" I went to sit on her bed, and told her,  "The principal told me I needed to bring my chemistry and math grades, you're in my chem class right? so we can start on a few of my missing and due assignments from that class then if we still have time left we can work on math" she sat only a few inches away from me, she smelled like strawberries "ok lets start on chemistry first then" I grabbed my computer which I put into my basketball bag before leaving the house, I went to open it and looked for my missing chem assignments, I then heard a little gasp come out of her mouth, I looked at her "I'm sorry I didn't mean to react like that I just didn't expect all of those missing assignments" she said to me, I started laughing "nah its fine I know its a lot"

She started to help me, we did joke around a bit, I liked her energy

"I have 15 missing assignments for math" I said to her while looking at her  "uhm ok well where do you wanna start first" I went to one of the latest assignments I refused to do because of how boring it was, but I did ask her lots of questions, mainly because I could see how annoyed she was getting it was super adorable, ugh I mentally slapped myself for even thinking of someone like her as adorable "will I have to keep on explaining this to you?? what exactly do you not get from the question" she looked like she wanted to slap me "I just don't get how it works I mean what do I even do, just erase the negative from the 17? how exactly do I take it out" we continued to work until we hear the door open, I looked at her and she looked back at me saying "Oh shit, I didn't even notice it was already 11:05, thats my mom she just came from work" her mom was coming upstairs, then she opened the door, she seemed like a sweet person, looking at Amelia but then looking at me, she smiled and waved "Hi ma, sorry I didn't notice the time but we will finish up if you want and Theo can go home" Amelia and her mom were just looking at each other while talking "its ok mija he can stay longer if he really needs your help, and if it get to late he can just sleep here, I did notice that it looked like it might start to rain really hard and those aren't good conditions to be driving in" Wow I did not expect that, I shouldn't have accepted the offer but I really didn't wanna drive in all that rain, it was just going to be too annoying "your mom seems nice, if it is fine with the bother of you can I sleep here? I really don't want to be driving in that condition" She turned to look at me, then just stared, I don't know what the feeling was but I didn't want her to look at me for much longer so I cleared my throat "Oh yeah sorry of course you can but just sleep on the floor" she said finally looking away

We kept on working I my assignments, I was getting a bit hungry and tired so I'm glad she suggested for us to stop and go get a snack, after eating she told me that if I wanted to take a shower I could, and I took that opportunity mainly because I didn't get to shower after the game, after getting done with my shower I went back into the room, I didn't put on a shirt because honestly I don't like sleeping with one, but from the corner of my eye I saw Amelia staring at my body, all I said was "take a picture it will last longer" I saw her rolling her eyes, I silently chuckled with her reaction, she grabbed the things she needed and went into the bathroom

After a while she came back, she had on another one of her off the shoulder band-tees, it had the name 'Pierce The Veil' on it, she was also wearing another pair of shorts, they were more loose then the other shorts she had on and they were pink with strawberries on them, I saw a glimpse of what I thought was some black stuff on her back but just brushed the thought away telling myself it was nothing, she gave my some blankets and pillows

"Goodnight" I said to her, she stayed silent for a few seconds and then answered "goodnight" I couldn't sleep though, I was thinking about what that would be on her back, but i'm probably just overthinking it, I mean it couldn't be a tattoo, she didn't seem like someone to do that, she's to geeky to have a tattoo, especially on her back, I tried to stop thinking about it and somehow around 1:30 I finally rested my eyes and drifted off.
