Another World? Another Kingdom?

Fear is Rising

"Hey Erina, did you ever think we were gonna see each other this soon?"

Joker had started to flutter his eyes open as he heard his orange hair companion talking to Erina.

"Honestly, I thought I was never gonna see you guys again considering Toshiro is back in track in his life. I'm wondering if this is another distortion of his heart... If it is, I think we need to knock some sense into him again." She replied while laughing.

"Well I think he's been living a humble life since he's gone back to the real world. I can't believe he's been pulling a Fox behind our backs though. I would have told him to go to Leblanc and get curry from Joker." Queen stated with a sad expression.

"Well I'll let you know that I am not a free service. I would need a tip in order for me to make it free." Joker replied, getting off the bed and then stretching.

"Isn't that basically called a discount?" Erina asked sarcastically.

"Anyway, back at the situation at hand. We have areas to explore. We need to get to room 001 in hopes in finding Toshiro and the others. Hopefully they're still doing ok." Queen said.

"I wonder if Skull is ok. I might need to give him a kiss on the lips or bruises knowing that he's a big cry baby sometimes." Joker stated with a huge grin on his face.

"Wait... Have you and Skull been in a relationship even before you met me and Toshiro?" Erina asked with curiosity.

"Yes. I hate to reveal this secret, but sometimes when we were prepping for the next mission, we would go somewhere and.... You know."

"Ewwww Joker! That's gross! And what if you guys got caught by the Legionnaires doing that!?" Oracle responded with an annoyed expression.

"I mean we did once... let's just say we have to do that fight with... minimal clothing on."

"I think I've heard enough." Erina said looking in a different direction.

"So I think we should go down in the room with the green blinking light. That brings us closer to the room and we can see if there's another hole that leads to it." Queen mentioned as she started to push the bed.

"Wait something's off," Oracle said analyzing the ship, "I'm seeing two dots right below us and the room right next to us. I have a bad feeling that the lights may be just throwing us off."

"Erina, are you able to use your flag as a flashlight for us?"

"Sure. I think we should keep an eye out for flashlights as we're-"

Suddenly a loud roar could be heard nearby which made the lights go out in the room. Everyone quietly got to the corner of the room and wait for the monster to go by. In the darkness, Joker felt something touching his butt.

"Queen, stop touching my ass." He whispered quietly.

"Wouldn't you feel pain from my hand since I have spikes on right now."

Joker realized she was right and decided to use his third eye to see what was touching him. He saw a hand of a dead person touching which caused him to react strongly and scream his lungs out. Queen quickly covered his mouth as something had come out from the hole in the middle of the room with its two red eyes. It searched the room for possible people in there but ended up finding no one. The monster broke through the closet to find the two people from earlier and ate them in one bite. It then left the premises of the room and the lights started to blink red in it. The brightness of the light was clear enough to see the room again but with a hole in the closet.

"I suggest we jump down in the hole now, before it comes back." Oracle whispered.

They all nodded and proceeded to jump down the hole.
