Heeseung finally accepted Sunghoon's follow request on instagram. As he scrolled through Sunghoon's account, admiring the figure skater's posts and performances, he stumbled upon a picture that caught his eye.
There, in one of the posts, was the same girl he had seen at the rink--the same girl who had caught his attention. Heeseung's curiosity deepened, as he found himself lingering on the photo, wondering about the connection between Sunghoon and this girl.
It was a picture of both Sunghoon and the girl at a skating rink. As he continued scrolling, he kept noticing a recurring presence--the girl from the rink. Several posts featured her, as he scrolled further, a particular post caught his eye. Sunghoon had tagged her account.
Curiosity getting the better of him, Heeseung decided to explore her account. As he delved into her posts, one detail caught his eye--the same distinct mole near her eye that Sunghoon had. The realisation struck him, creating a moment of connection between the two siblings. The identical mark hinted at a shared genetic.
Heeseung couldn't help but marvel at the subtle similarities, the shared features that linked Ji-o and Sunghoon.

Walking with the guys, Sunoo couldn't help but express his frustration, "I can't believe classes are already starting, I swear it has only been a week." Jake, with his typical nonchalant demeanor, responded, "I'm pretty sure it has already been a month, lost your sense of time?"
"Is Sunghoon in this school?" Jungwon turned to Sunoo waiting for an answer. "Yea, he just enrolled." Jungwon had questions, lots of them in fact, "Wasn't he originally from here?" "He was but he moved to America for some skating thing and now he's back." "How do you even know him?" Jungwon pressed. "Our moms are friends. How many more questions do you have so I can prepare mentally?" I chuckled after listening to the two younger boys conversation.
It's indeed a small world.
In the midst of the bustling hallways, Sunoo's complaints about classes echoed, resonating with my silent agreement. Jake, true to his nonchalant nature, strolled alongside us with an air of indifference. Jay, on the other hand, injected some humor into the atmosphere with his unfunny dad jokes, earning simultaneous head shakes from Riki.
Passing by familiar faces, we couldn't help but be amused by Jay's attempts at humor. "Jay, please stop. I might just jump off a building at this point." Riki said with the same judging look on his face. Despite the groans, his lighthearted banter added a touch of levity to the otherwise ordinary school day. The hallways became a canvas for our diverse personalities, creating a dynamic backdrop to the routine of the academic environment.

PSH POV

Unpacking the boxes in my new room, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nostalgia. My sister, ever the organized one, meticulously arranged our belongings, turning our new space into a reflection of home.
"Sunghoon, do you want your desk by the window or against the wall?" she called out, her voice carrying a warmth that eased the unfamiliarity of the surroundings.
"Window, I guess. It'll be nice to have some light while studying," I replied, glancing around at the half-empty boxes. "As if you study." she snickered while i playfully rolled my eyes.
As we unfolded clothes and placed them in the wardrobe, laughter echoed in the room, filling it with a sense of familiarity despite the new setting.
My sister, always the storyteller, recounted tales from our past, bringing back cherished moments. Amidst the unpacking, I couldn't help but appreciate the bond we shared, turning this relocation into an opportunity to create new memories together.
The room slowly transformed, becoming a blend of our shared history and the anticipation of the experiences that awaited us in this new chapter of our lives.
We continued unpacking, memories flooded back, turning our new room into a canvas of our shared childhood. The posters on the walls, the familiar creaks in the floor, and the well-worn corners of the furniture carried the echoes of years gone by.
"Remember when we used to hide our secret treasures in that drawer?" Ji-o chuckled, pointing to a slightly scratched wooden drawer that had witnessed countless adventures.
"Yeah, and this was the spot where we'd build our pillow forts," I added, a nostalgic smile playing on my lips.
Together, we embraced the familiarity of our shared history, turning the process of unpacking into a journey down memory lane. The room, now adorned with traces of our past, became a comforting reminder that, no matter where life takes us, some things remain constant – like the bonds forged in a childhood bedroom.
As we settled into our childhood bedroom, surrounded by the relics of our shared past, my sister, Ji-o, looked at me with a curious smile. "So, have you made any friends at the new school?" she asked, her eyes reflecting a mix of concern and anticipation.
I paused for a moment, reflecting on the interactions of the day. "Not yet, but the guys seem cool. Sunoo, Jake, Jay, Jungwon, Riki, Heeseung – they're a diverse bunch," I replied, a subtle optimism coloring my words.
Ji-o nodded, her supportive gaze encouraging me to embrace the opportunities that lay ahead. The room, now a blend of nostalgia and new beginnings, seemed to echo her silent encouragement as we continued unpacking the last remnants of our shared history.
As we sifted through our belongings, Ji-o's eyes gleamed with a subtle interest. "I couldn't help but notice this one guy that is apart of your friends. Who's he?" she asked, her tone carrying a playful hint.
I grinned, recognizing her curiosity about Heeseung. "That's Heeseung. Seems like a cool dude, he doesn't seem to open up much," I shared, gauging her reaction.
She raised an eyebrow, a sly smile forming.
I chuckled, sensing a potential crush in the air. "Taking an interest?" I teased. Ji-o, caught off guard, quickly denied any romantic interest, but her lingering gaze hinted at a curiosity that added an unexpected twist to the process of unpacking our shared memories.
