(I would like to thank everyone reading this! It means a lot to me, I randomly came up with this fanfic idea while watching Death Note...
I grabbed my journal SO FAST- uhm but anyways hope you like it!! Bye-)

Xie Lian POV:

It's been 5 years since I've been back to my home. Well, the place where I grew up at least. Seoul, Korea. You see... my Mom and Dad got divorced when I was 12, and my Dad was the main source of income, he was a lawyer. My Mom loves to write, she was an author. My Dad didn't approve of my Mom being an author. He would always try to get her to sign up for nursing school and become a nurse. My Dad had a lot of opinions, and when people didn't agree with those opinions, he would get really pissed.

Mom and Dad started fighting more and more as the time passed, to where it would happen 24/7, whenever they spoke to each other, it always turned into a fight. My Mom couldn't take it anymore and decided to divorce my Dad. I can't blame her, he was a shitty husband.  After her and my Dad divorced, she decided to get a new job, and leave writing behind. She ended up working at a very big and popular publishing company, she also worked on articles and newspapers. Soon I turned 15, and started working. The next I know, she told me that we're moving back to Seoul. She had gotten promoted and got an offer to move to another office, where she would make even more money. I was so excited, I could finally go back to my old school and see my childhood friends!

Feng Xin and Mu Qing. The three of them were inseparable. That was... until Xie Lian had moved. The moving situation was very last minute. Only a month before they had to move. So Xie Lian was busy always helping his mom that he couldn't hang out with Feng Xin and Mu Qing. They day he had to leave, he texted the other two, asking them to go to the convenience store that they would always go to. They never showed... Xie Lian's Mom felt horrible about the sudden move, but she couldn't afford living in Seoul anymore, and they both needed a fresh start. Xie Lian tried reaching out to them on social media, since they both had blocked him. He didn't know what happened, is it because they felt left out... betrayed perhaps? It hurt Xie Lian, his Mom would often worry about him. She felt bad about breaking the three's beloved childhood friendship. But even she knew, some things simply don't work out in the end...

(First chapter done! This served also as a backstory I guess you could say. I don't know when I'll be able to update again, as school starts tomorrow >:(( I hate when breaks come to an end. But hopefully I'll be able to update soon, until then! Bye-)
