Last chapter...
Xie Lian, Fu Yao and Nan Feng are chatting before class starts when all of a sudden Xie Lian hears 2 familiar voices coming from down the hall. Suddenly, his head started to hurt. He had a feeling this was gonna be a long first day...
Xie Lian POV:
His eyes are basically glued to the door. Fu Yao and Nan Feng were busy arguing over which one of their favorite animes were better. It went on for a long time. They were to busy with that to not notice Xie Lians's shaky watery eyes. He swore he could practically hear his heartbeat. It was pounding so loud.
Just as excepted... they walked in. The first thing they do is walk in and head to their desks. The teacher mentions having a new student and points to him, right as they looked at him he bowed his head down, letting it hang. He did not want to see the looks on their faces.
All of a sudden, a hands on his desk.
"Xie Lian. Since when did you get back?" Xie Lian was still looking at the desk but he knew that voice was 100% Mu Qing's. He looks up and smiles. "W-we just moved back recently." He says with a weary smile, but still tears in his eyes. "Oh. Cool. Uhm... well class is about to start so I'm gonna go sit down but it was nice seeing you again." As he walks away Xie Lian could've sworn he heard him say "I missed you" who knows maybe it was just in his head. After all, him and Feng Xin didn't talk to him for YEARS. It's not like they were held at gunpoint or something being told to ignore him.
The class was actually not bad. Xie Lian was silent but did answer some questions. He hopes he's on his teachers good side. He just wants this to be easy and go by quickly...
Time skip to lunch...
Hua Cheng POV:
He was waiting for Xie Lian. He hoped nobody messed with him. If they did there would he consequences. No one will hurt his beloved ever. Soon Xie Lian gets there and they talk about their first couple of periods and how their classes went while they eat. Hua Cheng could just stare into Xie Lians eyes all day. His beloved is so pretty.
