"I'm so fucking stupid." Y/n mumbled as she got up from her living room couch, her head aching in pain. She still felt disoriented but she knew she had to get up, it was only Friday! She rushed to get ready and retouch her makeup, not even bothering to wash off her makeup from last night, and swiftly left her apartment.

She rushed to the bus stop and had made it in the nick of time. She walked on the bus and sat on one of the seats in relaxation, glad that she didn't miss it. It wasn't until she closed her eyes while on the bus that she remembered everything, from the moment she drank the whole bottle of Sake to the moment she attempted to kiss Gojo.

"Embarrassing, embarrassing, embarrassing." Those were the only words Y/n could form under her breath as she thought of all the things she said and did. "Satoru must be so weirded out by me." She looked out the window hoping the city scenery, which wasn't very pleasant to look at, would somehow calm her down. She got off at her stop and went to her job, she then entered the office where all the other interns were working at.

"Good Morning Y/n." Yuta greeted her, with his usual soft smile. The office was split into four cubicles, a weird setup she thought but it made do, and there was two people in each cubicle. It was very well known that the cubicles were set by equal talent, though this was just speculated, so her being in the same cubicle with Yuta did often boost her ego. "Morning Yuta." She sighed while setting her things on the table, it wasn't a sigh of annoyance but a sigh of exhaustion.

So much has happened and now she wasn't sure what to do. She was unsure of whether to text Gojo and apologize for how she acted or pretend that she didn't remember a single thing. Eventually she glanced over at Yuta while in deep thought and saw that his facial expression was quite...content? Y/n was confused because just yesterday he looked so stress that it almost made her stressed. "Um, Yuta are you alright?" She didn't want to pry if this was something he wanted to keep to himself so she decided to keep the question vague.

Yuta stared at her for a moment, trying to recall any situation or action for why she asked him this until he remembered that he had bumped into her yesterday afternoon. "Ah, yeah I'm fine now. Actually that just reminded me, the company wants to have a dinner with all the interns tonight...something about celebrating both of our new projects?" She smiled at hearing the news until she remembered, what project did Yuta have? Y/n thought the assignment she had gotten was a one time thing.

"That's great...but um what...what project do you have?" She tried her best to not come off as nosy but she was nervous, what if Yuta had one upped her again, like always. "I got a few offers from a couple of authors asking me to illustrate their work, apparently they really enjoy my art-style." Yuta smiled, proud to know that he was finally becoming known. Y/n smiled at him, her eyes slightly twitching before congratulating him. Like always, he had one upped her.

She still found it strange on why he would be so nervous heading to the office but decided to just let it go, she was already being nosy enough when asking about his projects. "What about you Y/n? What's your project?" Yuta questioned, his dark brown eyes looking at her with genuine interest. Y/n internally sighed, no matter how envious she was of Yuta...she could never bring herself to hate him because he was so caring. "I was also given the opportunity to illustrate a book, though not a lot like you." She laughed nervously, maybe because she was embarrassed but who knew.

"That's great Y/n!" Yuta beamed, happy that his friend was given such an amazing opportunity. Y/n gave a bittersweet smile to him, Yuta was so happy for her and here she was giving him a half-assed smile from when he told her about his projects. "Thanks Yuta, really." She then took out her laptop and begin to read the book that she was to illustrate to help give her an idea.

The two sat in silence, each consumed by their own work and soon it was time for lunch. Usually they skipped lunch since they never checked the time while working but Y/n had received a notification on her phone. "Sorry Yuta, I thought I had put my phone on do not disturb already." She stated before turning off her phone. "That's fine, it's lunch time anyways." He glanced over at the clock and realized what time it already was. He stretched his back before standing up from his desk and walking over to Y/n's. "Don't skip lunch again, you do it too often. You're like a workaholic."
